Seeking fresh seafood? See Sea Fresh. Every time I’ve had a food sesh there whether on a date or hanging with a friend, Sea Fresh has been refreshingly familiar and full of something new. There’s still so much I haven’t even tried on their menu. For the sake of this review, we doubled down on Fish n’ Chips and Cod n’ Chips. They both look similar in the pic, distinguished only by the wooden sticks (the cod). They both provided the perfect sharing and with leftovers for sparin’. We went all out on the toppings and dip options: ketchup, malt vinegar, cocktail sauce, soy sauce, and tartar. The fish was fab, just the right amount of flaky, and great for going down the gullet. The coleslaw was not exactly slaw-some but slaw-fully fine. The fries got the job done. You’re paying for whole shebang, so if you’re gonna eat next to the water - then really - go outside and eat next to the darn water. The boats go by. The air is scented with sea breeze. There’s a bar for what ales you might be needing. Eat. Drink. Chillax. Enjoy!

A good casual dining place to have a meal before going on an island packing trip in Channel island. The restaurant is located right next to the port of island packer boarding area. Most of the people eat here are for the trip. This is not a destination dining place. Although, the seafood was fresh and tasty, we didn’t find it outstanding. Fish and chips and tacos are the popular items here. We ordered these two and enjoyed them. I particularly liked the New England clam chowder. The soup was creamy and filled with generous portions of clams. We also added truffle fries to our order. They didn’t do a good job on the fries. The fries were stale and not crispy at all. I hardly could tasty and truffles on the fries. I guess this is not worth it to pay extra for the truffle. The outdoor dining environment was very nice with the harbor in full view. With a nice sunny day and ocean breeze, it’s a great place to enjoy the meal before going on our island packing trip.

First off, make sure to check that they got your order right when you pick up your food for take out. They messed my order up, and then it took a very long time to get it right. I stopped in for some fish and chips, and it was fantastic. The breading was super light and crispy, and the fish tasted very fresh, and wasn't mushy. I upgraded to truffle fries, and they have a very nice flavor. The steamed veggies were also very fresh, and the tartar sauce was perfect. There is tons of seating, inside and outside, and you are right on the dock, so you can hear sea gulls and sea lions--it is really peaceful. I came on a Saturday around 7:45pm, and it was pretty packed. The service is hit or miss. Some employees are really nice and others are not.

I noticed this restaurant arriving for my Island Packers Channel Islands tour, and as I got back, so thought I'd try it out for dinner. It was a little pricey for my wallet, but that's the only complaint I have. I tried the Swordfish for the first time and it was delicious! I mean, they have a swordfish as their mascot in their brand, so you have to try it if you never have, right? Also got fish & chips in case I didn't like the swordfish, but I loved it and ate it all!! I was pleasantly surprised by the large portion of swordfish they gave me, so maybe it was worth the price! Their tarter sauce was good too - I've had tarter sauce at some places that tastes horrible! Boo on Coke products, but at least they had Dr. Pepper.
