Furniture Place — Local services in Oxon Hill

Anyone looking to buy furniture from this place be aware........

1. The return policey also states that they have to approve of the return (basically allow you to return your item) and if they decide to refund you your money then you still have to pay a 30% charge of however much the item was plus the delevery fee just to get it returned.

For us, if they did approved of our return. we would have to pay 30% of 1261.40. Plus delivery fee.

Floor items are non refundable.

2. Store policey state payment must be made in full before shipment can be scheduled..basically saying you have to pay in full before you can see the item. If there are defects then you only have the time of the delivery to identify it and request a replacement.. but the delivery guys are in and out so fast you dont have the opportunity to inspect it.

We ordered an item from the catalog found in the store and much like another review on here, we did not get that item. We got a cheaper knock off that is not worth the $1,200 we paid for it. (Bait and switch) instead of getting a nice sectional that can fit four people we got a couch that looks like it belongs in a college dorm room and can barely fit one person.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to this store April 11th. I purchased 3 bedroom sets totaling over $4,000. My children and I sat in the store for almost 2 hrs trying to find furniture that was readily available. I didn't want to wait for anything that had to be shipped from out if stare.Linda had to call the warehouse to ensure that our selections were ready for delivery. I was told everything would be delivered in 3 days. They only had my bed, the chest and (damaged) dresser and mirror. Nothing for my children. When I called, she said it will be there in 2 days. They came back with my nightstand and replacement dresser and mirror,also damaged. I came to athe store on Saturday, to be told nothing can be done until Monday, when I was told everythingill be there for sure on Thursday. I took off of work today for this delivery THAT NEVER HAPPENED. When I called the warehouse, they said my furniture was in NEW JERSEY!! inda also went into the system and changed the furniture set my daughter ordered behind my back. Its hideous! I'm in the store waiting for her, for over an hour now for my refund. The sales personhere saidshe couldn'tdoanything, I had to wait for Linda.. I can't wait until...

As of today, 04/29/2023 the couch that I originally went there to purchase hasn't arrived. I was told that it takes about 7 days, so I'll give more time for it.

Allowing myself to lose patience I made a quick purchase without seeing the items, except in the catalog I was shown. The silver and black bed has lights but does not turn at all. The mattresses and box springs are identical but receipt says otherwise.

You be the judge of whether I made a good purchase or not.
