Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Maryland

I recently had a meal at Outback, and I wanted to share my experience. I must admit that my review may be slightly biased because I had just received the devastating news of my lifelong friend's murder the day before visiting the restaurant. Nonetheless, I found the overall experience quite enjoyable.

Let's start with the aspects I didn't particularly like. Firstly, the entrance was a bit exhausting to navigate through. Additionally, I encountered a flooded urinal in the bathroom, and unfortunately, there was no sign to indicate the issue. However, it's important to note that the staff may not have been aware of the situation, as it could have occurred just before I arrived.

Moving on to the service, I accompanied a pastor I vaguely know, along with a large group from his church, as they were planning to celebrate his birthday at Outback. Naturally, with a sizable group like that, there are bound to be some mistakes and mix-ups with orders. Our server, Kyara, did her best to accommodate us and was genuinely pleasant throughout our visit. She patiently answered our questions about drink refills, didn't rush those who needed more time to order, and handled a miscommunication regarding the food orders efficiently. I personally had an issue with my burger, and Kyara immediately addressed it with kindness and without escalating the situation. She even customized my burger to my liking, replacing diced onions with sliced ones and serving the pickles on the side as I preferred. Her customer service was commendable.

As the afternoon turned into the evening, we asked Kyara to take a few photos of our group, which she willingly agreed to. However, she also had other customers to attend to, which was understandable since we had finished our meal. Thankfully, another staff member named Jatwon stepped in and happily took the photos for us. This added a nice touch to our dining experience.

Despite the fact that I only knew a few people in the group, Outback and its staff managed to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The servers and kitchen staff provided excellent service, ensuring that the pastor's birthday celebration went smoothly. I must say that this has been my best local dining experience in 2023 so far.

In conclusion, while there were a few minor issues with the entrance and bathroom, the overall experience at Outback was enjoyable. The staff, particularly Kyara and Jatwon , went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant, despite the challenges of serving a large group. If there was a 0 id putt 0 Waitress complete trash , had n attitude Dude who brought out food trash wouldn’t respond to anything, kids ordered steaks, wife ordered steak all medium well Was brought out rare on inside n burnt on outside They took it back was gone 20 mins I had ate my meal n other kids ate there meal One if my sons n doughters ordered n ate potato soup with bacon crumbles n cheese n chive n sour cream The same server guy brought steaks back they’ were like bricks u could barely even cut them let alone eat Told our waiter was about it n got the eye rolling n head snap she said she had to take them to take off the bill not like they were even being ate anyway but only took the 2 kids steak off the bill not my wife’s steak Manager never came over once but we seen her every where else we weren’t offered something else nothing , garbage customer service If that wasn’t bad enough 1.5-2hours later my doughter started throwing up n explosive diarrhea everywhere multiple times each then 20 mins later my son started the Same, we had 2 rooms every trash can, sink, toilet , bathtub filled with vomit n diarrhea, bedsheets, clothes we were supposed to go on a fishing charter the next day to celebrate my son’s birthday instead my daughter n son were stuck in a hospital with n IV my wife up all night me up all night with r 3&6 year old My son was discharged in theand my dog was transferred to the children’s hospital we had to get another hotel and miss another day of work to stay down there until she was discharged the following day, no charter no nothing but complete n utter hell, was a nightmare worst experience of our lives all because of someone’s negligence there gonna kill somebody this pkace shouod be shut down we will be contacting food n health and maybe a lawyer I guess we’ll c how outback handles this matter Truly awful, disgusting n disappointing to...

If anyone knows me my favorite restaurant is Outback. My favorite meal wings and a house salad. All of that changed this past Friday afternoon when I went there for a late lunch. I ordered my normal meal and informed my server that I was allergic to tomatoes. Imagine my surprise when my salad came to the table covered in tomatoes. I sent the salad back and for the second informed my server that I was allergic to tomatoes. When the new salad came to the table I asked was this a fresh salad I was informed that it was. Trusting my server and this restaurant I started eating the salad. The wings were over fried and after sending them back once I just decided I wouldn't eat them but would finish my salad. I went to eat the salad and to my horror I bit into a tomatoe. Looked down and there were more tomatoes and seeds in my salad. I asked for managers immediately. Imagine my horrow when the manager that came to the table treated me like I had done something wrong. Her response to my tomatoe allergies was just take a Benadryl. Then I informed her that I am 6 months pregnant and not sure if I could take Benadryl. Her next comment was well if it gets worst and you go to the hospital just brings us back the paperwork but as I favor to tou I will comp the salad off your bill. And she just stood there. I informed her I didn't want anything else from this restaurant her response well you are free to leave. Thank God I had Benadryl in my car and the Prenatal team at doctors office informed that I could take it. By the time I got to.the car both my lips and tongue were itching.
