🚨 BEWARE DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION.
while Visiting family for a over night stay we (myself & other family members) decided on this location
From the beginning at check inn there was Kaiouse it took us all of 20mins just to check (inn mind you to get there was a 4hour drive!!) Due to non communication with a guest before I that guest made us aware of the ridiculous charges Red Roof PLUS charges a $50 Deposit & 3.18 INCIDENTAL charge that is NON REFUNDABLE!! who does that it screams RIP OFF
As we were leaving someone child got lost which had front desk and another person going door to door askin if it we had lost a child which was sOo Weird why was CPS not called?? Why interrupt others and worry them we were off to have a good time but got concerned about the lost child that should have been handled in very DIFFERENT MANNER The ice machine on our floor did not work soo we had to go travel to get it mind you it was raining outside and was not aware upon checking inn And to add icing on the cake... When taking a shower I stepped inn to COLD WATER We alerted the front desk the first thing out of her mouth was runn the water for 15 -20 mins for it to get hott and the reason is due to others running the water That let me know SOMEONE staff and management is aware of a issue with WATER not being hott on the property because why would you yell a guest to do that if it NEVER HAPPENED before?¿ or this is the FIRST time a guest brought it to staff attention ..hmmmm
I went downstairs to front desk she calls management KENDRA and this lady was a joke her problem solving skills to fix the issue after I ask for partial refund or a refund was to check out and she would be back inn monday morning at 8am....I got HEATED mind you this is 20mins to 4a.m where would we go? Of course non of her concern or the night auditors because it wasn't their money , experience or effecting them. Soon as I got home I made a complaint to customer service (see picture of what the "general manager " Kendra replied back stating) which made me even more furious to the point I mite make it a court issue esp. With her thinking we weren't going to go into survival mode and do what we had to do And again I ask WHAT COMPANY STATES that and does that to a guest was she for real
Yesss we had to wash our SSA with COLD water thank you for taking the time to notice the use of towels n wash clothes But What KENDRA and staff should have done that night was notice there was NO HOTT WATER in the room & FIX THE PROBLEM, SOLVE the issue that night instead of waiting until we checked out in room 202 there is NO HOT WATER MS.KENDRA FIXX IT
Now I understand WHY RED ROOF Inn's are shutting down this location most definitely needs to be next week will NEVER stay at a red roof plus ,Red Roof inn ANYTHING with RED in it EVER AGAIN all because of KENDRA the very unbothered, UNPROFESSIONAL, INSENSITIVE greedy, manager other companies remember the name because management like this...

Had a 3 night stay, showed up for a late check in the first night and received a room that as soon as you walked in smelled of bleach so strong. I said wow this is so strong and I’m not sure I can deal with it. Let it go and figured well at least it’s clean then right?! Saw this ozone machine on the counter and raised a red flag for me because why was it there? But figured maybe someone smoked in the room prior to us.. no big deal. As I’m trying to finally settle in, I’m starting to have trouble breathing and coughing. Likely what I thought was the strong smell in the room. My other guest proceeded to the bathroom where the whole ceiling was caving in above the shower head. I tried to ignore this all as we just had an 8 hour drive & just wanted to sleep. My breathing was so bad due to the smell I had to go to the front desk to switch rooms. While I wait for her to get me situated, I turn around to the vending machine to get a drink, machine is broken and ate my money. Before I could even address that, the woman goes “oh that machine is broken, can’t you see the soda stuck?” I then looked at her and said “and you didn’t think to maybe put an out of order sign on the machine?” She goes “if you’re having an issue, call the number on the machine” … I go back to the room to pack back my stuff and realize the whole ceiling is covered in black mold… explains the reaction I was having, the ozone machine on our counter. They tried masking the smell with bleach and the ozone machine. Crazy and super unsafe…. fast forward, Get to the next room, go to shower, water is COLD…. Not warm, but legit cold. I figured it was late, I’m tired, I’ll deal with it in the morning. Fast forward to the morning… the other guest in my room went to shower and the shower curtain rod was broken down and curtain wouldn’t stay shut, no counter space on sink or in the bathroom to hold your supplies and to our surprise the water was still COLD. At this point we decided to check out and locate another hotel for the remainder of our stay. Upon going to the front desk, the vending machine still doesn’t have an out of order sign… whatever right. We express our concerns and the lady at the front desk proceeded to act like she couldn’t hear us and said through the glass “I can’t really hear so just wait till I process your return” will never stay here or at a Red Roof Again!!! Worst customer service, rooms...

The rooms are wonderful, especially for the price point. Despite it being no smoking, I was regularly graced by the smells of marijuana and tobacco. There are even clips from joints and cigarette butts on the floor in the halls(I have pictures of it).
My experience with staff was all over the place. It ranged from abrasive and disrespectful to compassionate. I was having a medical emergency, and one of the employees was super compassionate and helpful. Quickly helped me find a place to get help and helped me find a ride there as well.
My wife and child were woken up in the middle of the night a couple of times by loud noises from next door, so I went to complain. I was told "We have police on call 24/7, we can take the complaint for you and forward it." I wouldn't trust anyone to speak on my behalf, so I asked if I could just go speak to them myself. I was told "If you want to speak to them, call 911." Pardon? You want me to call 911 to make a noise complaint about someone's children being really loud, after midnight, at a hotel? I inquired about getting the mystery fee "security deposit" kind of thing and was dismissed by a manager? She told me "The card you paid the deposit on is locked" along with some super non-committal response about me actually getting my money back. Had no problem taking my money and disrespecting me for trying to get it back. I had to walk away so it wouldn't turn into an argument.
There is an old condom (thankfully unused) on top of the metal thing next to the sink. They're the metal things near the ceiling. I think they're radiators? Either way, super awkward. Some kid toy next to the bed(even though there is no under-bed space), the bathroom door absorbed moisture so it won't close easily, and the toilet could use a bit of TLC.
Overall, I rushed to leave before the checkout time. It wasn't an entirely bad experience, and the area has a ton of shops for every need. With a bit of TLC and Elbow Grease, this could easily become a 5 star place.
P.S. The vending machines seldomly...
