I booked this appointment with Mayvenn hair company. For one the quality of the hair is HORRIBLE. I previously ordered straight bundles, and I loved it. This time I got loose wave and the quality is not the same at all. Unsure if I got the “bad bundles” due to the deal Mayvenn was offering?? Unacceptable.

Initially the look of my sew in was nice...which is why I tipped an additional $20 although it was a “free service” through Mayvenn. I have long peices of thread throughtout my hair, the tracks at the top where my leave out is, is coming loose. The hair was tangled up in the thread (she obviously was not brushing the hair out while sewing it in), and I have hair out in the back that I did not ask for. Its enough for 2 cornrows!! The hair in the back is shorter than the rest of my hair, as I had a undercut. That was months ago and the hair has grown back....I am not a hair stylist and I can grip it and cornrow it...so I know the stylist was able to. I have natural hair, so it just looks like a bush (unacceptable). Also, the stylist DID NOT braid tight....it is loose as if I had the install for over 2 weeks. & my 22inches were placed in the front, and the 18 inches were placed in the back...not by request. Thats backwards right?

Please do better and I hope this service is not due to the fact that it was free to me since I booked through Mayvenn. All customers should get the same quality of care. The stylist name is...

I like the salon and I enjoy seeing individual stylist and barbers do their thing and have their reoccurring clients return because of great service. However, my second visit with a stylist was not the greatest. On Wednesday 11 June 25, I went to see Ms. Danita. Her sign said walk-ins welcome all styles. I have been to her before and I asked for a press. She did okay service (she had a lot of walk-ins that day So i guess she rushed through my hair). This time, I came in for a press and TRIM. As she began to wash my hair which wasn't thorough, she was telling me (as she was DETANGLING my hair which she was pulling instead of being gentle) that I had dead hair or whatever. As she blow-dry my hair towards my ends, she was cutting off my "dead ends." Then when she began pressing my hair she put heavy oil in it. My hair was COOKING. At the end, I did not see my end results. She did not ask me how much I wanted trimmed off, and she didn't give me a mirror to see the finishing product. She ended up wrapping my hair so I did not see the damage she did until Thursday morning on my way to work. I asked for a refund and she said she does not give refunds. Please don't waste your time and energy with Monty!!! He came highly recommended and to great disappointment, he failed miserably to cut a simple cut. He was given a picture and told exactly what I expected, yet he shrugged off my request and did his own thing. He cut way too much off ( running his mouth...talking all about nothing) when I asked him to slow down to gauge my cut, he ignored me and continued to cut. When all said and done, I had to pay him $75 for a cut and style (trust me, he did nothing spectacular). Smh, I've had to wear this basic b*tch haircut for a couple mths until my hair grew back😫. Please, whatever you do, don't waste your 💵. Btw, his fees are way too expensive for such amateur work. He's use to cutting hair for the elderly, so girls be warned, don't spend your hard earn dollars on this man...
