I’ve been to Forest Produce Market a few times since stumbling in on their opening day. I am impressed by their selection of pan-Asian and Mexican dry goods. Was happy to find staples like a few varieties of lentils, beans, pearl barley. Their produce is fresh and reasonably priced, comparing to Safeway and Trader Joe’s. Excellent little spot! My wife and I found the pricing to be competitive against the markets across the street, Trader Joe's and Safeway. There's a big selection of fresh produce. There's a number of Mexican and Asian dry goods (sauces, noodles, dry beans and lentils). It's really the only place I can get access to middle eastern staples. Eclectic little marketplace with lots of international food items. I bought some lamb and it was the best cut and price I've found at any of the area grocers. Most items were priced very similar to other international grocers I've patronized in different cities. Some items like the tomatoes were a bit above my budget price point but it doesn't mean they're not worth the $5/lb (I just wasn't willing to pay that much without tasting the quality of...
