Dry Creek Saloon — Local services in Pahrump

We stopped in for the Grand Opening . I was excited as I've met the owner and thought she was pretty cool previously to this business adventure. It stated they expected to be open late that night. We got there, and the dj was chilling. I'm just letting the music play by itself, which is expected that late, I suppose. The place only had one other couple there. Although I'm not much of a drinker, my boyfriend is, and he makes it worth the bar and the bartender to stay late and to give proper service. We asked if they were done for the night before sitting down, and we're told that they were still open. The bartender smiled but had no interest in serving us. We were made so uncomfortable as if we wasted their time. We decided to leave. The place has been remodeled by the owner, and it was cute. However, we most likely won't return as we thought it was a kid friendly place until we heard they posted sexy pics in the men's bathroom for the men's pleasure. A complete turn-off. I will not subject his kids or my kid to this inappropriate content for a kid friendly establishment. I am completely appauled. I'm sad to see this happen as the original establishment seemed pretty cool. It wouldn't bother me for her pics if it was not claimed to be an adult establishment. But it is just not the case. We could not share photos as there are signs posted stating it is not allowed. I wish you luck in your business's adventure. If they ever make it truly kid friendly and remove those photos from the bathrooms the kids will need to use. We might think about trying it again. But til then it's only true kid establishments we will...

We stopped in around 6:30 on a Thursday for dinner. We were the only folks in there. The waitress/bartender quickly asked us what we wanted to drink and then brought the drinks right over. The menu is limited. The burgers seamed interesting, but we ended up getting a BLT (which does not come with any sides) and a roast beef sandwich. Both arrived on really nice 6” half sub rolls. The BLT had good flavor and was a nice size. The roast beef was a hot sandwich, also with good flavor from a chipotle mayo, banana peppers, and onions. It was served with chips and salsa, neither of which seemed housemade or were very flavorful. I had a gin and tonic and my spouse had a few beers.

The bar itself was really cool carved wood that the bartender said came over on a shift from Europe 100+ years ago. This was a no nonsense place to stop...

I loved the nice clean atmosphere. No smoking here. Yay! The bar tender was very attentive. However, when we ordered the $20 Hangover bloody Mary which we had planned to try for a week and drove a long way to try this amazing looking drink that consists of ribeye steak, avocado, pineapple, green olives and tomatoes. The bar tender went back to the kitchen came back and said they were out of avocado and pineapple. We asked if we could substitute the pineapple and avocado with something else. She then again went back to the kitchen and gave us the bad news. We were incredibly disappointed. Oh, I called earlier that day to let Tristen know we were coming in to order that drink.
