At first you think this will be a great place to do business with. My wife first spoke with Karen and then Tina the owners wife about matching a price at a competitor of theirs which they agreed to. I spoke with the owner Michael who at first was quick to give me all the reasons not to continue my business with furniture warehouse which I agreed with his advice. Michael sent me a txt with a picture of the bunk bed we were looking at to confirm he was looking at the correct one to give me a price. Michael was even willing to match the price I was given by his competitor which I thought was good at first. However after cancelling my order with the other place and moving forward with him a few days went by and then he contacts me to say he can no longer offer the price he quoted of $600 instead he was saying now he would have to charge $1199. I was floored at his sudden change of demeanor and price increase. When I questioned Michael he said that between the time we talked and him placing the order (3 days) the manufacture increased the price which is causing the increase and there was nothing he could do. However in disbelief I reached out to ACME furniture to verify his story as I found it hard to believe that large of an increase in cost and I was able to confirm my suspicions I was being lied to. ACME confirmed that his cost had not increased and even provided me his cost which was $439 for the bunk bed. I was very surprised by Michaels attempt to deceit me and fabricating a lie just to increase his profit margin. Once I reached back out to him with what I was told by ACME he goes on to say he was expecting his cost to be around $ 200 based on the MSRP for the bed and he never actually looked up his cost before agreeing to match the price. That is not my fault that he failed to properly research his profit margin before agreeing to a price with his customer. Michael then goes on to tell me that no one is going to sell me the bunk bed and install at that price stating he is giving me a great deal at the new price almost double what was agreed to. I would not recommend this business to anyone as he will tell you anything just to bring business away from his competitor then lie to you once you start to do business with him. Michael even went on the try to call me dishonest for trying to make him honor his word and price then went on to threaten me against posting a truthful review of his bait and switch and scrupulous business practices. Beware of giving any business to this place at all costs you have been warned of the dishonest business practice and lies from the owner Michael. My husband and I bought a sofa from Home Gallery of Furniture to put in our RV, and asked if they could take the old one out for us which they said sure. We didn’t realize the old one was bolted but good to the floor of the RV. Dave and Chris, the movers, worked their butts off (especially Dave) taking this piece out. I will say a special thanks to the owner who came out and figured out how to get inside the sofa and release the pulley and also pull the backs of the sofas off, then Dave was able to get the rest and Chris helped haul the piece out! The owner was a huge help as well. They went above and beyond for us, we did pay a fee and we were more than happy to do it. They worked tirelessly for a solid hour hour in a half on it! We went in looking for a couch, but not sure what we wanted. The owner Michael walked us around and really listened to our concerns and took into consideration my husband and I are tall and that deep seats would be best and most comfortable for us. They gave us a great deal on an awesome couch that looks very high end, without breaking the bank. The whole transaction was like 45 minutes. It’s was great and the couch was delivered the next day.
