We were at the Azalea festival and stopped in, the antiques were awesome but I was very disappointed listening to the staff talk about the local band that was playing. While this band was a little heavier I don’t think it was appropriate to talk about how horrible their music was and that they would never choose that music and so on. To say how the music is horrible and their shows are “big harry sweaty men that spit on you...” was out of line and unprofessional to say near and to customers. Support local businesses ? Genuinely one of the best antique shops I’ve ever been in, we couldn’t stop “ooo”-ing and “ahh”-ing! If I had more money, I would’ve bought about one thousand more items, but I did find a wonderful selection of old and new. Absolutely brilliant to have multiple vendors with their supply. Also, the woman at the front (who seemed to be English) was an absolute delight- it’s a shame she only works Wednesdays, she should manage the place! And the owner seemed nice as well. I purchased almost $200 worth of glass. As the cash register rang me up I noticed a significant fracture in one of the pieces that had not been disclosed. The owner said she also didn't know it was broken or would have disclosed it on the tag but then refused to allow me to exchange it for another item of the same value from the booth. So I was forced to buy a $65 broken item. The cashier was excellent, very friendly and kind. But the owner's policy is unreasonable, dishonest and nonsensical. I will not be...
