Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Palm Bay

I went to Ollie’s in Palmbay on 5/3. When I went to pay, the transaction did not go through (not my fault). I then added a pair of subclasses and inserted my card again, which did go through. I looked at my bank account today and noticed that they charged me twice. I called to have that refunded and they told me to call back at one and speak to Sheri. When I spoke to Sheri, She was extremely rude unhelpful and just did not want to be bothered with the issue. I explained to her that I am an hour away from them. Can I email the receipt or can we figure out a different way to where I don’t have to waste gas going all the way back up there. Once again, very rude. She Evyn said “Well, it’s not my fault that it happened” with a snarky attitude. Then I said it’s not personal I said “y’all” as in the entire corporation. She is a terrible customer service representative and if she is the manager, she really needs to be reconsidered. Now I will be wasting my gas and time to go up there to get this refunded, even though it was their mistake. I asked if there’s a number for corporate to where I could discuss their unprofessional manner and I was told to call the number on Google, which is their number. They are unwilling to admit they are at fault and...

Saw multiple post of many different Facebook canning pages about Ollie’s have Ball brand Mason jars on sell for a super great price. I had never heard of this place, I just happen to be in the vicinity of this particular location today, called and spoke with an employee who graciously held for cases of jars until I could arrive at the store Once I arrived, I was greeted by Susan and Michael both. Both were extremely helpful. Michael knew away around that store, it didn’t matter what I asked, for he was able to direct me or even take me to what I was looking for. He helped load my jars. It was very kind. Susan, was the cashier, she told me about it always card, and all the perks of having it, help me sign up, and was just a delightful person to speak with. Unfortunately, I do not have an Ollie’s in the town I live in. So it looks like I’ll be making the drive, because I definitely want to come back and visit when I have more time. I've always liked this store and have gotten some great deals! However this last trip was a let down. Items sporting a 50% off sticker were not actually on sale for half off. Thats their way of saying that THEIR price is 50% of the retail price. I think it to be false advertising; I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️. I purchase 2 identical items. Same brand, same size, and one bar code scanned at the advertised price, one scanned for double 😳. They had different barcoades and were probably mislabeled at the factory, hence Ollie's getting them for "Cheap", but it ended up being at my expense. They did reimburse me when I noticed the error on the receipt, so thanks for that. But check your prices and make sure your not getting...
