Fair price, great customer service, trustworthy.
To start this off- I inherited a gold bracelet from my deceased grandfather. The bracelet was a little too large for me and I decided to get 2 links removed for it to fit me better.
First I went to a different jewelers right by Papa John's and the Eye Lash Extension Salon across the street. The Jeweler's wife was at the front and I told her what I wanted to get done on my chain bracelet. She said okay.... then told me I needed to remove 4 links... and then add more gold filling in between the clasp!! While insulting my intelligence and imagination, she called her husband over. They began speaking in another language (to make sure I wouldn't understand them) and told me it would cost $135 after they finished talking to each other. Keep in mind I only needed two links removed. Then I got up to leave and tried to shake hands with her (she reluctantly did). Those people are con artists!
My next stop was obvious because The Jewelry Doctor was so close by. As I walked in I received a warm greeting by Danny. I also noticed multiple other customers and I took that as a good sign because the last place I went to had absolutely no customers. I talked with Danny and explained to him what I was looking to get done with my bracelet. He was EXCELLENT with customer service. I felt comfortable enough to leave my bracelet with them because they seemed very trustworthy and honest. The price was around $35 to get the two links removed and there was a complementary polishing, and a two day wait. When I came to pick up my piece Danny was there again and showed me my bracelet. First thing I noticed was how shinny it was! It looked absolutely flawless and brand new. The work done on it was not even noticeable. I received the two extra links in a little baggie.
I could not possibly be more satisfied with the flawless work and customer service. If I could rate this 1 million stars I would. Hopefully this review gets noticed by somebody. Bottom line- If you want to be treated well, go the the Jewelry Doctor and don't waste your time with any other place!! I will DEFINITELY be returning in the future If I ever need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO. NOT. GO. HEREā¼ļø Brought a beautiful example of Italian silver in for a simple polish. My thought was āHow could anyone screw up a polish job.ā I was wrong. They didnāt even POLISH my bracelet. They put it in for a treatment , which left acid all throughout the Cuban links. Now i have to find a true jeweler who can not just RESTORE the ends of each link after leaving it STRIPPED! But access what the STRIPPING agent left to EAT my bracelet has done to the original lobster clasp, if it can even be salvaged. After announcing my disappointment/disapproval of this āGracious Dealā Which I was quoted $20 dropping off but informed they āgave me a deal for $25+taxā I was also told they really charge $35! Awesome! No one knows what the other worker is doing here, NOR DO THEY CARE. Want a FLAT WIPE polish job without the crevices of your links cleaned and LEFT BARE STRIPPED? TREATED WITH DISRESPECT? then come on down. They will rob you and disrespect your belongings like thatās what you deserve. Below you can see the Top surface of my bracelet is shining, but donāt be fooled, you can see in the photos how Tarnished and stripped the links have been treated. Literally even on the flat front thereās left over grime and trying to put it on left black stains on my wrist. You can see HOW BAD my silver was treated in the clinch hold exposing the linkage, verified by the edges being bare it was a flat wipe. But the house jeweler said before I left- āIf you wear it- you canāt even see it.ā Awesome. Great Job šš½ ZERO STARS. I STILL HAD TO PAY! Iāll never...

I would happily give the The Jewelry Doctor 0 stars if Google allowed!!!
I took four watches in to the store for new batteries-two of my own, one of my fathers and one belonging to my mother. I was told I can wait as it won't take very long.
The European employee changed all four watch batteries, told me that he was finished and then proceeded to inform me that one of my watches was BROKEN. The rod/shaft of the main knob to set time and date had snapped off inside the watch meaning that the knob falls out of the watch and the entire movement needs to be replaced-he said they can do the repair for a good price which seemed VERY convenient!!
I was told that I "knowingly brought it in broken" and hinted that I was fishing for a free repair job. My argument was that if it was broken prior to bringing it to the store, surely the knob would have fallen out and been lost.
I had no issues with the watch other than a dead battery! Why not inform me that the watch was broken before doing any further work on it....He denied having broken it himself, blamed me and was very aggressive in store...not helpful at all and I am now left worse off than before my first and last visit to The Jewelry Doctor!
I called them back the following day to speak to the owner after consulting with the watch manufacturer, I was met with aggression and no customer service whatsoever.
Judging by the other reviews, it seems I am not the first with this sort of issue.
DO NOT...
