Buongiorno Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens

We have ate here several times and the food was always delicious. We ordered last night an order to go which included small pizza, 10 wings, mozzarella sticks & the tour of Italy. We brought it home and our minor daughter took a bite out of a slice of pizza and almost chocked on a piece of plastic. It was the shape of a triangle and about the size of a half dollar. My husband proceeded to call and the person who answered the phone said that we needed to bring the pizza back with the piece of plastic. It was almost 930pm so we said we would come back in the morning. Well this morning when we showed up, the 2 gentleman working said there was absolutely no way that could happen and basically called my husband a liar. They wanted to argue about it. All we wanted was them to do the right thing. To be honest, after you find a piece of plastic in your food, your turned off by the entire meal. Needless to say, we didn’t eat the food. Not what it used to be... This used to be our local Italian joint even before its current name, maybe owners. I don't know. We haven't ordered in a while but the Strombolis are our go to, but they are now half the size but the same if not higher price. Very delicious but not good when you expect to feed 4 hungry people at home. Extra cheese pizza has very little cheese and sauce on it and looks like the dough is paper thin....another change.

The lunch specials taste great and are very reasonably priced with decent lunch portions. I like the chicken parm. However they get you with the soft drinks....$3.98 for a soft drink is ridiculous but I get it that this is how they make money especially at lunch with something that is virtually 100% profit.

I can't say we will never be back because they have other entrees that we order for dine in but there are now many other local options available in the 30 years I have been patronizing this...

First time there. Worst Reuben snndwich I have ever had. Waiter said he'd pass on the info but no one ever came to our table & I was charged full price for a sandwich that I couldnt eat the 2nd half even though I was still hungry. The meat was cut up finely and such a small portion of meat. I let waiter know but no one came to our table about the food. I declined to take the other half home it was so bad. I see the business has responded to muy review by saying they hope I give them another chance. I consider this a poor response as I paid for food that was so terrible & I let them know it was so bad,. Yet I was not even given a discount nor offered a replacement or even management to come to the table to talk with me. Now they want me to come spend more money?????? How insecere! I give their customer service a 1 just like...
