China Town Chef — Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens

I ordered food and was told 20 min. When we got there 30 min after we ordered the food was not ready. The food took 52 min total and we were handed the wrong food. I called to explain and I was asked to bring the food back to exchange for mine. I agreed and went to ask when my new food would be ready but I was hung up on. So I figured it was a mistake as they must be busy. I call back to ask and it was clear they had intended to give me the food that had went home with another family. I had opened the food and the kids touched things so another family should not have to eat that. I asked that my food be remade and went to ask how long it would be and was hung up on again. At this point my kids were unhappy (hungry as it was past 7). I was frustrated being hung up on and scared to get food that had been returned. I called and asked to just be refunded. They had me drive back in again to be refunded. If I had not been hung up on multiple times I would not have been so upset, it was also very disturbing that they were going to resell food that had been returned (they had spoken with the other family and knew I was living so that wasn't the reason they wanted...

I went to this restaurant and ordered Sesame Chicken and was UPCHARGED $6 for the shrimp fried rice and it was not prepared well; the chicken was not good at all. I spoke to the lady at the front to see what could be done (basic customer service) and was told “you spent your money”. I wasn’t asking for a whole new meal, I just wanted the chicken swapped out since it was not even good in the first place. I took one bite of the chicken and showed it to her to show that I was not trying to rob her, the food genuinely was not appetizing. When I was preparing to leave I went to her again, to ask for a refund as my food was untouched. She ignored me and first and when sue returned she had an attitude. She didn’t want to give me MY money so now she decided to give me the chicken instead. She grabbed a scoop from the back and scooped it out in front of me with attitude telling me to “take a seat the food is cooking.” Overall, I was dissatisfied. I moved to the area about 4 years ago and found it hard trying to find a good Chinese takeaway place there's a lot around here but none of them really were that good I'm extremely picky about my fried rice that being said this place is on par with the other restaurant I went to for more then 10 years they have some of the best fried rice I've had and I will be going here for as long as I live in this area I've tried a lot of their menu already and the only thing I've been a little disappointed with is the egg drop soup and it's not because of the flavor its just a little to thick for my liking with that being said overall this place it great and the staff has been welcoming every time I've come in or called for takeout
