Express — Local services in Palm Desert

I've worn Express forever, but hadn't shopped in person in some time. The store was clean and well organized, making it easy to find sizes and see how items looked in full glance as they were displayed prominently. I was most interested in the jeans as they had many different styles and there was a picture of the jeans on a model at each of the tables or racks that they were at. They had my small size in every style, which was very much appreciated. The sales clerks were friendly and did not hover. I tried on multiple jeans and just wasn't into them as the style is high rise, and the one pair of midrise were not flattering. I have been in this store twice within the last 30 days and I have been ignored and avoided by the staff. My most recent visit Briana was the only one to even acknowledge me and offer assistance. She was great and very helpful. I even heard one of the associates get asked if she contacted me and answered yes I did. When she never did. It was frustrating. I had to find someone to open the fitting rooms and the opened it without saying a word and promptly left. It made me feel unwelcome. Again if it wasn't for Briana I would have decided to not return. What a disappointment Express has become. It's definitely not the same engaging venue it once was in years past. The selection is minimal and the prices a bit much. The costume jewelry is unremarkable and even the "buy one, get one 50% off" isn't an incentive. Frankly, I'm surprised they're still in business.
