I booked a lymphatic facial and hot stone massage at InstaglowSKN based on the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was quite different. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, but no one was in the office. Shortly after, the masseuse arrived, and we were both locked out of the building past my scheduled appointment time.

I was also surprised to learn that my massage therapist was male, as I wasn’t informed of this in advance or given the option to select a preferred gender. At every other spa I’ve visited, I’ve either been asked for my preference or automatically paired with a female therapist to match my own gender.

The massage itself was decent — I requested extra focus on my shoulders, but the attention seemed more centered on my outer glutes, which wasn’t what I asked for.

As for the facial, it wasn’t what I had booked. I paid over $150 for a lymphatic facial that was supposed to include a deep cleanse, exfoliation, facial massage, extractions, hydration mask, and face sculpting. Unfortunately, there were no extractions or facial massage/sculpting included. While I left feeling relaxed, my skin felt tight and dry with no noticeable improvements.

Overall, while parts of the service were okay, the experience fell short of what was advertised and what I expected based on other reviews.

Okay, my review comes a little late but, almost a week later, my skin still looks fresh from the spa!

First and foremost, I must say that this was my first facial. I called to schedule an appointment and right from the beginning Azucena was WONDERFUL! She was so warm and welcoming on the phone, and then when I arrived she continued to be the kindest person! I truly felt so comfortable and it was easy to tell how passionate she is about skincare.

As for the facial itself, it was dreamy! The vibe was relaxed, the room was beautiful and Azucena went above and beyond to take care of me. I was glowing leaving her studio and oh my goodness, my skin was so soft!

All that to say, I guess I’m going to have to come back to Palm Springs for all my facials from now on! I’m a Long Beach girl but Instaglow Skn is worth the trip (: I recommend everyone stop by! Thank you again Azucena; you are the best!
