Such a terrific experience here! I’ve shopped at a million furniture stores but what I love about The Closeout Store is the ease and convenience. The owner, Gayle, is lovely and so helpful, and really wants her customers to leave satisfied and happy. The store stocks a wide variety of affordable furniture but I was struck by the very high quality of the pieces I ordered despite their very fair pricing, so it’s a total win-win for new clients like me. I ordered a beautiful large storage chest that matches the bedroom I set I already had perfectly, and a brand new table set for my living room. It’s all sturdy and elegant and it was a breeze working with The Closeout Store.

This all started because I moved and needed: 1) more storage for my bedroom (hence the tall bedroom chest); and, 2) Replacement tables (coffee table and side tables) for my living room set, which was damaged during the move. I did some research to find other alternatives and found The Closeout Store. I’m so glad I went — and I’m so happy with my purchases and the customer service the store had.

You can shop at any big box furniture store and I can bet you’ll be harassed by their sales people, charged a huge down payment, or you’ll have to pick from a limited selection of whatever’s on the floor. I can promise you that a visit to Gayle and her team is worth it. You can order from their catalogues, select from tons of different styles, and never feel pressured or stressed to buy something you don’t want.

I wanted to purchase a new faux leather sofa and loveseat for my house. I looked for them in the Department stores, but was always disappointed by their lack of supply. I was determined not to give up until I found exactly what I wanted. That’s when I found THE OUTLET STORE. I met with Gail who told me she had them and pointed me in the right direction. She let me browse on my own, without following me around like they do in the other stores. She remained available for me as I looked around the store. That’s when I not only saw a supply of faux sofas, but found the exact one I wanted. The problem is the one on the floor was not the color I wanted. I told Gail and she assured me she could get it for me in the color I wanted, and showed me a picture of it. The price was reasonable. I ordered the sofa and loveseat. Gail was friendly and helpful without being pushy. She accommodated me on date of delivery and payment. The delivery men, Carlos and Christian showed up as scheduled. I’ve purchased from this company over 5 times however lately the company has gone downhill. Due to the untimely death of my mother I had to leave town before doing so I stopped in and asked if I needed to close out my “lay away “ plan as I was unsure what I wanted to do at the time. “Ann” told me it was fine . However when I returned she told me the policy states 3 months max and I was was out of 700 dollars. They lost the invoice and told me verbatim “your SOL” the policy on their counter states 6 months and verbally I was told something different . The issue at hand was small potatoes in comparison to the mistreatment and rude behavior of the store manager . When threatened with litigation she called the police although I had not met her with any aggression or rudeness. I even asked if I could speak with the owner to which she replied “he doesn’t speak to people” . As a returning customer and business owner myself I am SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED with the mistreatment I recieved and will be person further action as I never signed nor agreed to a “policy” .
