Hands down the best fish I’ve tried in South Florida. We’re from Georgia but we have friends here in Palm Beach. It was my first time trying this restaurant and won’t be the last. We came after reading reviews on Yelp and it didn’t disappoint.

Location: Easy to find. Free parking

Ordering: we ordered our food at the counter. The worker explained the menu and we placed our order. Since we were sharing, they recommended us getting some extra fish (3 more pieces for extra $7), and they also recommended the hush puppies.

Ambiance: the place is cute. Nice decor, looks clean and organized. Plenty of seats available when we went.

Food: food came quickly and came hot. It looked very appetizing and pretty. The fish tasted fresh, not greasy, very hot and it was melting in my mouth. The hushpuppies were delicious! Flavorful and also not greasy. Fries had cajun seasoning on it. We also got tartar sauce and garlic herb butter and they were both outstanding. The crab salad was delicious too. The mint lemonade is a must try!! We also got to try the beignets and they were very yummy.

I really enjoyed going to Mr. Shrimp but I will no longer be going there. I tried to place an order online as I always do. For some reason it was not working or going through. I called to place an order on the phone and they said I would need to place online or come inside their spot and order. When I arrived I placed my order. I ordered the family boil, as I have always ordered for the past two years. When I went to get my food I see they are missing the rice. The employee says let me check. He then says yes we missed it. Sorry. Then I notice there are not as many crab clusters as there should be. The employee says that the website menu is wrong and the family boil only comes with 4 clusters. I ordered an extra 3 so there should have been a total of 7. I received 6 clusters. I then get home and open the whole container and realize I was missing the 1 lbs of mussels. The corn is cut in half’s. Skinny half’s. The potatoes look bad and are cut into small pieces. The employee said I could drive back and I said no because I’m 30 minutes away. He told me he could leave my number for the manager when they return. Horrible customer service. Will not be giving me business to this...

This has to be one of Palm Beaches top hidden gems, it shouldn't be hidden though. AT ALL. I was there for the first time yesterday I had the cracked conch, shrimp platter with a added crab cluster (I should have got two) and 2 eggs. The seasoning was perfect. That's my number one PET PEEVE. I HATE going to restaurants, Especially seafood restaurants, spending all this money and they don't season their food properly. The food was fresh, hot, juicy and they delivered it very fast. Even the fries was seasoned to perfection. Whatever seasoning and broth they use to make that crab cluster was beyond mouth watering delicious. I repeat everything is seasoned. Their pictures on their menu is not justice enough. The crab salad was the only thing mediocre. I didn't catch the young lady's name that was working at the counter last night, however her customer service was top tier and her personality was bubbly and funny. She knows how to treat the customers. I will be back when I come back to palm beach to visit. I wish they had a...
