As a first-time customer, I went in to receive a brand-new set of four tires, rear brakes, and rear rotors. Checking out, I noticed no alignment was performed according to my invoice. I asked why an alignment was not performed, according to Johnny? the receptionist he stated they only do it when it is a full set. I told him it was a full set. Then he stated I was supposed to request the alignment. I mentioned never in my lifetime have I heard of that, I thought it was mandatory to align tires when purchased a full set of four. I left and had to return the next day for an alignment for a charge of $150. They gave me my vehicle without test driving it themselves. I drove off and instantly my vehicle pulled hard to the right almost causing an accident. I returned to the shop immediately, and approaching to DJ(the owner), he informs me that his mechanic Jeff just told him the machine was not working well. I explained how terrible the alignment was and that it was worse than before I brought my vehicle to them. DJ placed my vehicle back on their alignment machine. I waited and witnessed what they were actually doing to my vehicle. Jeff tells me he got it a lot better now. I informed Jeff that I want him to test drive it. He does after approval from DJ. When Jeff returned with my vehicle after a short test drive, he stated it is straight. I asked DJ what my options are if I pull off right now and it is still not right. He responded with we will just throw it back on the machine again. I left again, pulled away and my alignment was better than how they originally gave it to me but it was still not correct. No way near correct, still much terrible than how I brought in my vehicle. I returned again and informed DJ (the owner) that it is still not correct and I'm not going to continue with this back and forth allowing them to keep throwing my vehicle on an alignment machine that is obviously not working. I requested my money back for the alignment and without hesitation the owner gave me my full refund for the alignment. I informed him, you should have been honest and transparent with me from the beginning that your alignment machine is not working. At this point, it made sense why they did not perform an alignment when installing a fresh set of tires. If I were any other female, they would have probably driven off with an extreme unaligned vehicle and could have caused a car accident. However, due to my experience I was able to stand up against these men trying to charge me $150 for an alignment that caused an extreme pull. I have substantial evidence through my dash cameras, and photos of the alignment reports (since no printed report was provided), I snapped pictures. Leaving here, I immediately went to get an alignment from a different shop, and they provided me with a full report of the condition of my vehicle's alignment. The report showed how terrible the alignment came from the Firestone shop and how much the new shop had to adjust. This place messed with the wrong female. They have been reported to the Bureau of Automotive Repair. The complaint was filed against Firestone in Palmdale, the owner DJ, and his mechanic Jeff that felt it was okay to charge me for an alignment when their machine was obviously not working, and they worsen the condition of my vehicle costing me extra costs to get an alignment done elsewhere.
Let's not even talk about the level of cleanliness in their waiting area. Stained seating, dirty bathroom, and you'll lose a lung while you wait for your vehicle from the heavy smoker they have working there.

Read moreI am writing to share my recent experience with Firestone Palmdale regarding their brake replacement service, which unfortunately led to significant issues with my 2020 BMW 740i.
On December 29, 2023, I visited Firestone Palmdale with the intention of having my brakes replaced. I chose this shop based on their positive reviews and the assurance that they would provide competent service. However, my experience did not meet my expectations.
After the brake replacement, I noticed that my brake sensor immediately indicated a problem. Concerned, I contacted the shop, only to be informed that the sensors needed replacement as well. This crucial information was not communicated to me prior to the brake replacement, which was concerning.
To make matters worse, Firestone Palmdale insisted on an additional charge of $250 to lift the vehicle again and install a $9 sensor. This was despite the fact that the need for sensor replacement was a direct result of their oversight. I found this to be an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided if the issue was addressed correctly from the outset.
The problems did not end there. Despite the sensor replacement, I continued to experience unusual noises coming from my vehicle's undercarriage. I attempted to diagnose the issue myself and sought input from my fiancé, but the source of the problem remained elusive. This persisted for over a month, causing me significant frustration and concern.
Finally, on February 17, 2024, I decided to seek a second opinion from JD Auto Repair Inc. Upon inspection, they discovered that two bolts were missing from the calipers, resulting in damage to my vehicle. The repair shop rectified the issue by installing new caliper bolts, reconnecting the brake sensor, and resetting the brake lights. This finally resolved the persistent noise issue.
Unfortunately, the damage caused by Firestone Palmdale's negligence resulted in additional expenses for me. Despite my efforts to seek redress, Firestone Palmdale has refused to take responsibility for their actions. "DJ," the owner, dismissed my concerns and denied any liability for the damages to my vehicle, citing the absence of a warranty on the brake installation.
Overall, my experience with Firestone Palmdale has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Their negligence has not only cost me additional expenses but also caused me significant stress and inconvenience. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering Firestone Palmdale for...

They used to get all of my business plus I would send friends & family there until they told me my brakes & rotors were shot! I took it to a friend who needed to earn some extra money, but when he took off my tires he told me the truth.... My rotors were almost new & my brakes were @ over 70% left. Not only did I not need them this friend told me how to clean my air filter because it was an expensive reusable one. So I go the stuff I cleaned the filter but it wouldn't dry.... The I found out that these people had taken out my filter & replaced it with a cheap fram filter which is not able to be cleaned or reused... They also told me another time that I had a cracked head gasket.... Another 500. that was a hose that really only costs a few dollars. So if this work I may not be reimbursed for the time and money that I have lost by doing business with them but they won't be able to rip...
