We used to go there time to time just to browse or see. Prices are not too friendly for used items especially if they are in very good condition, but anyway great things can be found as well especially after prices being reduced.
My main reason for giving 1 star is not the prices, but the tall female manager or owner. She prices the items. Today we saw a marble top side table we were very seriously interested in and we asked for a price for it. The table was on the floor on the selling section. That female manageror owner was SOOO MEAN. She said with very mean and harsh voice and in very rude way that she won't price the table if we are standing right there and waiting. She said she was busy and she will price after we leave the area. She repeated that few times. We got offended a bit and went to another section to give her time. We came back in about 7-10 minutes, but still was no price and we just left, we lost interest and didn't feel like buying anything anymore. 1st of all why not priced item is on the selling section of the store? If you are good customer service and if even you had morning or someone made you angry why do you take off on others? Even if item unpriced on selling section and you need time to price it ask nicely something like :" Guys, sorry we forgot to price it. I'm busy on something else right now.. Please give me 10-15 minutes and meanwhile please visit other sections of the store". This way we wouldn't have felt treated disrespectfully and the store wouldn't lose customers and everyone would've been cool. I don't think we will be go there again.... Good customer service is a key these days to keep...
Read moreI love this store. I like the people that interact w us on the sales floor. Very informative the workers have been for me when I’ve been there. The young lady n dark haired woman at the register are nn very sweet and nice to ask questions about items in the store just in case they have new knowledge ! I would like to speak on something that did upset me. The young lady that her car was almost broken into in the lot. As if it was one of my children’s j would have immediately called the police n made a complaint . I guess it’s a chain of command there at the store n how hinges get done I was leaving the store yesterday after seeing a manager woman coming to the register to ha young lady walk out front w her to talk about the that happened to her n her car in the parking lot. The manager decided to yell and so called out the young lady and was very stern w her about calling police or. To say the conversation was anything but solid. One was being talked down to n other was looking confused as if she was getting punished. I know a place of work should have guide lines. And should have a somewhat safe environment for the men n weman that are employees there. It seemed like it was of no fault of the young lady that was almost n n token into. But if a real manager would of taken the time to speak instead of yell at or speak down to the young lady. I think a personal talk to a manager or to all the employee to speak together about if something like this would happen again to someone there , what would need to happen to make employee feel better. Thank you and I’ll be back tonight. I would love to...
Read moreUsed to love coming here years ago, always would find great stuff. Not sure if there's just too many people desperately searching for stuff to resell on Ebay now, of if the store is making more of an effort to hoard everything that isn't garbage to mark it up for 5 times of what it's actually worth (good luck selling like that) but it's hard to find anything good or unique anymore. The prices have gotten significantly higher, and the prices NEVER take into account if the item is damaged, stained, torn, etc. The store is definitely on the dirty side - someone was smoking a cigarette inside in the back this morning and the whole place stunk. Also, can someone tell the geniuses who price things to stop punching holes through the shoes and clothing in terribly obviously places with their tag gun? You're already a thrift store, doesn't exactly help to ruin whatever value the...
