MONICA'S RUSTIC ROSE — Local services in Palmetto

Each time I go into the Rustic Rose it is a wonderful experience. To the two one star reviews. Ugh...self entitled drips from your reviews. It's a tiny store....if your phone rings you should go outside to take the call so as not to bother the other customers. There is a public restroom in Publix just a few doors down that people can use. Those who have actually never worked in retail wouldn't know that depending on insurance coverage sometimes stores can NOT allow people in the back to use the facilities...especially if they are by a stock room and there is only ONE person in the store working. Would you trust a complete stranger by themselves with stock (I am not saying this is their reason, just an example). Also it's a tiny gift shop with a lot of fragile and breakable items. So yeah...not really a kid friendly store and your child is not as wonderful as you think they are. They have wonderful gift items at really amazing prices and I have always had a really great experience with the wonderful ladies who work there. Don't listen to the one star reviews (one who admitted to never even being their...apparently his wife can't speak up) GO! Support local small...

Today was very disappointing ......I have visited Rustic Rose many times since it opened, and because they carry such beautiful things, I have always taken new friends whenever I can. Today we entered the store and began looking around and a sales lady came to welcome us and offer help. Ok. Appropriate. However, this person returned over and over and followed us through the store from area to area, interfering with our visit and shopping experience to the point that we felt we were being stalked. It was insulting and disturbing. If the owners are concerned about shoplifters they need to invest in a surveillance system. This was unacceptable to us, embarrassing to me after I’d recommended the place, and simply lacking in class. I will think hard before returning or recommending...

I have been a customer of Rustic Rose for over 2 years but wanted to write this review. It's one of those things when everything is good you don't say anything. Well, I want to say what I should have said a long time ago. This store, the Rustic Rose, its merchandise and its staff are terrific. Their clothing is amazing and not what you see every where else. Every time I wear a top, etc from Rustic Rose, I receive compliments and they ask where I shop. I have told 2 dozen friends about Rustic Rose and they are all very happy regular customers like me - many of us even taking girls' outings there. We all love the Rustic Rose!!!
