Marmo Tailor Shop — Local services in Palos Township

I found Marmo Tailor Shop via a Google search. I read one review and decided to go there and I was not disappointed.

I have a 29 inch inseam and jeans are not (often) made in this length, therefore, I must buy jeans with a 30 inch inseam. Because of this I constantly step on my cuff, especially when I take off my shoes.

I took one pair of my jeans to another shop about two minutes away from house and they botched the job. I then took three pairs of jeans to Marmo Tailor Shop and now the three pairs are the perfect length for walking with no shoes on.

The quality did not match the cost. I brought in a bridesmaids dress to be hemmed and upfront he told me it would cost $95 because of the material (totally fine). I found out later on that the rest of the bridal party paid no more than $60 for theirs elsewhere (still fine). He said he wouldn’t steam the dress since he would have to do it by hand and other places have machines that could do it easier (fine). Finally, when I picked up the dress the thread did not even come close to matching the color of the dress. He didn’t have it in a garment bag and gave it back to me without a hanger because it apparently wouldn’t stay on. Honestly, just...

I work for a company and my employees need their uniforms to be tailored. I called Marmo with questions about setting up an account with them to send my officers there with their uniforms. The gentleman was very rude, and said not interested and hung up on me. Not sure if he thought I was trying to sell him something since I mentioned my companies name but not very happy with the customer...
