We are long term customers of Noral. They have done work on my engagement/wedding ring and a vintage ring my mother in law gave me. For both of these pieces of jewelry they have done a great job with the work. My husband has also bought me various pieces of jewelry from Noral. All of them were beautiful.

I received a very special ring from my Grandma and wanted to get it resized. I took it in and the cost to just resize the engagement and wedding ring was well over $250.00. I was shocked. The sales woman told me that gold prices are high right now. Sure... I understand but that seemed like a rip off... considering we were only going up 1 ring size.

I ended up taking the rings to James and Sons in Orland Park. To resize both rings and retip the prongs holding the center stone... I was charged $168. I'm super disappointed in Noral. They absolutely were just ripping off a long term...

Visiting from out of town, I needed a repair on a pendant and met Dale at Noral. The work was excellent, quick and fairly priced. He was very generous with his time and expertise.

Later, I expressed concern about future wear and tear. He offered me a couple different options, ideas I would never have thought of. I didn’t have time for him to act on any of the options but I will certainly take the ideas to my home jeweler.

His other other staff were courteous, knowledgeable and professional as well.

If I have other jewelry issues when I’m in town I’ll go to Noral...

My husband got my beautiful engagement ring here. I came to have it cleaned and after 15 years they convinced me to have the diamond reset. I agreed and 5 month later my diamond fell out of my ring. They were completely unhelpful and unsympathetic. I would have at least liked them to refund the money for resetting the diamond since that was the reason I lost my diamond. But they would only give me half. Needless to say my husband got new ring elsewhere. A shame, because I do like to support local business. But not one where I am spoken to in a demeaning way and...
