I placed an online order for a washer and dryer and had a very poor experience with this location.
The store never contacted me using the phone number I provided on my online order, and instead used my husband’s old number from past accounts a number that was only ever tied to payments. Because of this, I was never informed that I needed to be home with my ID for delivery. I only learned about this requirement when my husband called me while the delivery team was already at my home.
When I called the store for clarification, I was told for the first time that I needed to be present with ID. While I was driving home, my call dropped. Instead of waiting for me to return the call, the manager assumed I had “rudely” hung up and canceled my order without my permission. He then told me we should “take a break” from leasing but that I was welcome to pay cash instead. He also claimed it was “alarming” that I didn’t know the details of my order, when in fact the miscommunication came from the store not using the correct number or following up properly.
I reported this issue with Aaron’s customer service, but I still felt it was important to share my experience publicly. I have completed multiple lease agreements with Aaron’s in the past and value the company overall, but this location does not reflect that standard. Poor communication, lack of follow-up, and unprofessional handling left me without the washer and dryer I ordered more than a week ago.
Even if this review is downplayed, I want to share my honest experience so other customers are aware of how this...
Read moreWasher went out and I went to my local Aaron’s as a quick means to get a new setup. Store was unable to locate the deal so I worked it out online, but needed to step into the store to confirm the delivery wasn't going to take place while I was at work as a single parent. The store was helpful and I waited.
Fast forward to day of delivery and the product did not arrive. I go in to find out whats wrong and the manager immediately berates me for “making them rearrange their schedule” for my benefit and then argues that they called me and went to my home. I have no phone log of ever being called by anyone during the tome in question and Aaron’s policy to place a sticker on the door if you couldn't be reached was not done. Find out they were calling a twenty year old phone number and not the one used to order the product but the manager at this point, extremely irate, simply kicks me out of the store and deletes my entire Aarons account.
Tl:dr Store used twenty year old information NOT used in ordering the product making a huge mistake and instead of admitting it, kicked me out of the store and...
Read more“If it’s important to ya, come put your eyes on it”, was the response when inquiring about the specs of a laptop that I need for work and school. WHAT A JOKE! I wasn’t inquiring about mind-blowing information, just about a model number because their website doesn’t have reviews about the specific model and HP didn’t even show that they made a laptop with the specific specs that were being advertised. “If it’s important to ya, come put your eyes on it” sounds like a response from someone who is uneducated on the products that their company offers or the laziness of an employee. While I agree, it’s important to see the item, my schedule didnt allow me to make it there during operational hours and with the delivery option seeming convenient, I was going to have it delivered….not any more. I’m in need of a laptop but I’m not desperate. “If you value your job, get up and look”. I gave a one star because there were not options...
