I was going to remove this review because I spoke to the owner who was a very nice man, I realize it is a jewelry store and they need to protect the merchandise, however, after speaking to 2 other people and they had the same experience and I asked if it was the same lady, because I would have figured it's just her personality, but they said it was not her, I thinkmaybe their staff needs to be a little more friendly and less militant, if you are that concerned about people walking around, put a guard at the door, I know that would make it feel more like protection for both the customer and store rather than being followed like a thief, if you want to walk with me, walk beside me or in front of me, not sneaking up and when I turn to ask a question I practically bump in to you. If someone is looking at something, make a comment or suggestion, "isn't that beautiful? It is made by....." I gave a couple more star's because of the kind gentleman I spoke to, but, because I spoke to 2 other people who said the same thing, the rest of my original statement stands. I will NEVER step foot in this place again, this big lady with a Polish accent, was SO RUDE and followed me around like I was going to take something, every question she answered with a snide remark, she also told me a gold chain & some other jewelry I had was fake, I took it to Coin & Bullion where they are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming and told them what she said, so they tested it, for free and said, She was wrong it's real, I went to an expert with some Turquoise she said was fake beads and he told me, no it's real, it's just been polished, it's a pre 1980s piece it is stamped with the artists mark, not the marks they use now. So as for the lady who said I don't know anything unless I went to school to be a gemologist, apparently YOU don't know everything either OR you're dishonest, also, don't be so quick to judge people, you never know what might be in their safe deposit box, maybe I could have bought whatever I wanted in there, but when someone treats me with disrespect, I'd rather go elsewhere, even if...

My experience at Maharaja’s was absolutely amazing. I went in with an idea of what I wanted. They listened to me and worked to get me exactly what I was looking for. Instead of trying to “sell” me on something I didn’t want, they went on the hunt through their system to find something that met all of my wishes. They didn’t currently have it on the floor but they found it in their system and had it in their store the very next day! Their selection of jewelry is amazing! They have the most beautiful and unique pieces there - like nothing you’ll find at other jewelry stores. I could have walked around in there for hours. Luke was so nice and helpful. His knowledge of the jewelry and designers was very impressive! The other staff members were all very welcoming and personal, as well; just genuinely nice and friendly people. This isn’t like one of the big box retailers where you pay big prices for low-grade stones and deal with rude or arrogant sales people. It’s quite different. I went to Maharaja’s after falling and damaging my wedding ring that had been purchased in Maryland. When I explained to Heidi what we had been through with insurance, she assured me that they would do whatever it took to make us happy and replace the stone. They found multiple stones for us to pick from to reset my original setting. Within in days she had multiple stones to pick from. My new stone’s cut, color, and clarity are nearly perfect. She rebuilt my ring, and it is more beautiful than ever before. Every employee at Maharaja’s went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. Heidi’s work is absolutely amazing! She had the owner of Maharaja’s meet with us to ensure we received the best customer service and our satisfaction was 100%. We will never use another jewelry store.
