I cannot praise this shop highly enough! Every worker that I have dealt with there has been professional, courteous, and beyond helpful. I have gotten pierced and tattooed here, and I will be getting more of each in the future at this establishment!
Cody is an amazing piercer, he is efficient and friendly, and made me and the friends that came to get pierced with me feel very relaxed and calm! The process was quick and painless, he knew what he was doing, and his aftercare instructions were great!
My tattooist is Joshua Fields, and I will be coming back to him again and again and again. He's cool, funny, personable, but will also just let you sit in silence and enjoy the tattoo experience if that's what you want.
I have three tattoos from Josh, and all of them are exactly what I wanted, well done, and beautiful. The first two are flashes, and both were done honestly beyond my expectations for flashes. He gave me the advice that I should get one of them shaded as it would look better on my skin, and he was absolutely right. I am really grateful that he cared enough to put in the extra work so that my piece could look its best!
The third that I have from him, I just got over this past weekend. It's a matching piece with my mom, and they are both incredibly well done and look amazing. I was a little bit picky about the size, and he didn't mind at all, was absolutely prepared to make sure that this piece that was going to be on my body forever would be EXACTLY what I wanted. His aftercare instructions were great and they are healing really well! Joshua is competent and efficient, the process was quick and painless!
Overall, the shop is a complete 10 out of 10, and I'm so glad to have a place like this locally. The energy of the entire place and the workers excellent, and it's a cool place to be. Everyone there obviously cares about the quality of their work, and will absolutely take care of you.
THANK YOU...
Read moreHaving gotten several tattoos from Jerry over the years, I can honestly say that this man is the best tattoo artist I've ever met. He is the only person I would ever trust to tattoo a portrait (or most anything with any level of detail) on myself or anyone that I know. While Jerry does excellent art, he also pays extremely close attention to (both his and your) hygiene. If you smell like you need a shower, Jerry won't tattoo you, because all that does is beg for your fresh ink to get infected. I've watched Jerry do close to 30 tattoos. Every time he starts, he washes his hands, puts on a brand new pair of gloves, washes and shaves the canvas, opens brand new needles, and dispenses untouched ink for his clientele. Jerry also has extremely good prices for his work, especially compared to other shops that I've been to. On top of that, he does all sorts of promotional offers for even better deals on his top quality work all the time. You would be hard pressed to find cheaper prices for the ink that you're getting anywhere. So what are you still reading this for? Head to Sacred Flesh and get Jerry to ink you up. He's got all the blood, ink, and pain you want or need,...
Read moreBeing forgotten about sucks. Especially when it happens twice and with appointments. The first appointment to get a piercing, the piercer was 20 minutes late. They were probably busy from the day so I let it go. He did apologize for the wait. Second appointment comes around for a downsizing and 20 minutes passed the appointment time comes by. I inquire about it to the lady at the desk and she went to go check. Piercer comes out and decides to take a walk-in. After he takes them back, she comes out to tell me that he will be ready in a minute… so I wait another 10 minutes and still nothing. The people he took back are already out in line ready to pay. So I said “forget it”, had the lady cancel my appointment and the guy next to her (an artist perhaps) rolls his eyes and waves me away. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews of this place so it’s heartbreaking to have such a negative experience. Both were appointments, too, so you may have better luck as a walk-in. This place just isn’t for me. So...
