Bayside Books is truly a hidden gem and has quickly become my favorite place to shop. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such a warm and cozy atmosphere it feels less like a store and more like stepping into a book lover’s dream. The staff are beyond helpful and genuinely passionate about what they do. I asked for a recommendation for something outside my usual genre, and not only did they point me toward the perfect book, but they also took the time to chat with me about the author’s other works and upcoming releases.

What sets Bayside Books apart is the attention to detail. The displays are beautiful and thoughtfully curated, making it easy to discover new titles and unique gifts. They carry such a wide variety everything from bestsellers to local authors you might not find elsewhere. I love that they also stock puzzles, journals, and fun little gift items, which makes it the perfect spot to find something special for friends and family.

On my last visit, I noticed they had a cozy corner with comfy chairs where you can sit, browse, and soak in the atmosphere. It makes the whole experience so relaxing compared to big chain stores. They even host events like book signings and community gatherings, which I think is such a wonderful way to bring people together.

Bayside Books is an independently owned bookstore that offers both new and used books as well as other bookish items as well. They have various genres as well as a kids section. In addition to books and bookish stuff (tons of bookmarks, bookish candles, stickers, tote bags, shirts, kindle sleeves, book sleeves, etc.) They also offer an array of other locally crafted items such as beautiful flower candle/wax melts, artistically created hats, baked goods, gourmet popcorn, drinks, and a beautiful self serve coffee bar. They try to offer something for everyone. They also have an amazing book wall that’s one for the Gram and make you go OOOHHHHHH. The owner and employees are down to earth and are very knowledgeable about everything book related.
