This was a great time to come for our very 1st time. They had their anniversary crawfish festival and was a great time for my 4 sons and myself! The food is pricey there although I don't know the market value for seafood lol but we ordered 2 double bacon burgers, 4 sweet teas, 1 20oz soda, 1 glass of Moscato ($8 for small), tuna dip, the 3lb special of crawfish and lastly and this is the only thing I had an issue with was a doggy burger($6) had I known it was just a kids burger patty cut up I wouldn't have ordered it. Guess I was expecting more like bread and maybe some veggies. My dog loves lettuce as weird as that is lol he doesn't get real food often so I was excited to get him a doggie burger but for $6 I could've gotten hamburger meat n buns and cooked it myself. The total bill was $131 and change BUT the people and staff there were absolutely amazing and fun atmosphere so we will be back for sure. Not a lot of parking spots that we could see unless they have a parking lot we don't know about lol there are 5 or so spots right in front of the restaurant and then parallel parking across the street which is where we were lucky enough to get a spot and I can't remember if there was handicap parking or not I apologize. Tables outside and indoor. Sports on TV's inside. Also has a bar, stage for live band (which they did that day and were awesome) and then as we were leaving they were setting up to do the crawfish eating contest lol and whenever you buy a crawfish boil plate they give you a red ticket which you can take and play putt putt (basically putt the ball straight into a plastic thing lol) and if you get a hole in one you can either get a free beer or drink or if you've already had enough lol you can use it to take a beer off which was cool. We didn't win lol. I also don't know if that's an everyday thing or just because of the festival. Overall this place is awesome and if you like spicy seafood and crawfish I'd recommend giving this place a try!! Dogs welcome...
Read moreWe are from SETX and we came to Destin and Panama City Beach for the gorgeous water, scenery, shopping, and all the things! However, what we have hungered for the entire trip is all of the delicious seafood! Let me tell you what, if you have a strong and eclectic pallet for some flavorful, juicy, and delectable seafood, especially CRAWFISH, Lone Star Boil House in PCB is the place to be!! Mr. Brian Alston, the owner is a fellow SE Texan and a man who knows how to throw down and boil some DAMN GOOD seafood!!! Great outdoor atmosphere, very nostalgic, great drinks, and the incredible staff, including the owner and his lovely wife, Ashley, are all super polite, welcoming, and personable!! We were waited on by Margarita, and she was so sweet and accommodating! She made sure we had everything we needed!! Our family highly recommends Lone Star Boil House, particularly if you have great taste in food and enjoy LOTS of balanced and...
Read moreUPDATE: 2nd chance was great!! Sometimes, things just happen for who or whatever reason! Arrived after 1:00. Ordered 3lbs crawfish, and they came almost immediately! They were perfectly BOILED! NOT STEAMED like everyone else. It had corn cobbetts, potatoes, and jalapeños and the crawfish were all good-sized! Juice in the heads was perfect! So, I ordered 2lbs more! Everything turned out great, and the service was spot on! Hopefully, my first experience was just a bad day!
ORIGINAL: 1st chance. Arrived at 12:00pm. NOTHING COOKED! NO CRAWFISH, NO SHRIMP, NOTHING! Said 1:00 when food was ready! I only told this AFTER I had already ordered my drink! But you open at 12:00!!! So, I guess the restaurant business is lost on you! Even common sense people know you need to have food ready BEFORE you open! Owner/cook, don't look drunk, hung over, add to it is have an attitude because you weren't prepared in a...
