Do not buy appliances at Home Depot without expecting a nightmare from rescheduled deliveries to terrible customer support.
I bought a fridge about 40 days ago, they first said shipping would take two weeks.. fine, not good but not a deal breaker. The night before delivery (after I had already taken off work to receive the fridge) they cancelled the delivery and rescheduled for two weeks later.
Two weeks come around and the fridge they delivered came and was dented and scratched but I just bought a new home and couldnāt wait any longer. I told them to install it and after a discussion the delivery guys said Whirlpool would send me new doors to install. Fine.
After the 24hr cooling period on the fridge it didnāt get cold. Iām livid at this point. I call Home Depot and they said itāll take ten days to have a technician to come and look at it and if the technician deemed the product broken it would take 5-7 weeks to get a replacement.
This morning (when the technician was scheduled to arrive) they call and ask what the appointment was for. Apparently they scheduled the appointment with delivery guys rather than techs. So after speaking with the customer service again they said they messed up and to expect a different technician to come and inspect the installation.
The best part is, I asked for just a replacement at this point and HD said it canāt happen because I didnāt request one within 48hrs of delivery (which I did inquire about but was told to wait on inspection). This is absolutely atrocious customer care. Do NOT purchase appliances through any Home Depot. Iāll be buying any and all home improvement products at Loweās now. Get it together, HD. Iām terribly...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this store for the first time in a long time in July 2024, around 12:03 p.m. I was VERY surprised it was still open for business. I came here just for 3 items however, those items were all in 3 different areas and not on the shelves, and was way above. I had to stop a lady(who had a nice island like accent and was very professional and truly went above and beyond by the way), who then got me some help by finding someone who drives a machine & unfortunately, this required them to block off the area etc and divert ongoing shoppers. What was supposed to be a 25 mins run to this store, almost turned into a hour and 53 minutes. Some of the members of management, including Shelley and Tanya had some attitudes that they tried to hide, they are speak to people in a very condescending manner and need people/customer skills itās sad that people can just move up to become managers in an organization due to their tenure, without really being educated on the art and science of customer service!!! Those workers often look extremely overworked and undervalued and Iām sure this billionaire company does not people these hardworking and honest people, a LIVING wage. I can image how high the turnover rate is because more than likely, the management team pockets heavily on bonuses from the hard MANUAL LABOR from these workers. I hope young people do not waste too much more of their time working for a company who does not care nor value them and go spread their wings somewhere else or start their own business....
