Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Papillion

Fareway is an amazing small town grocery experience located right in the heart of the big city. The produce is always fresh and priced well! They have weekly specials that almost always include wonderful items from their meat counter. You can't get better meat at any better price! They will occasionally have chicken on sale for $1.88 per pound and I ALWAYS go in and get the 20 pound limit because it is so fresh and the price is outstanding! When I'm there stocking up, I always find other great cuts of meat at great prices so I stock up on that too! They will cut almost any meat just the way you like it! It can't be beat! I've also used many of their Fareway brand items and have never had a bad experience yet! I highly recommend...

So today my mother and grandmother went to fare for some fruit. My mother went inside and my grandmother stayed in the car, as she was waiting on my mother to come out the store my grandmother opened up her car door to get some air and one of the employees decided to slam my grandmother's car door in her face. First of all my grandmother is 80 years old and she could have easily had her foot hanging out the door thank goodness she didn't this time. My mother spoke to some manager name Aaron and he as not called us back at all. I am very disappointed and very sadden of the treatment my family have faced today. Wonderful store to get your groceries. Maybe a little more expensive than the big box store across the street but the prices are quite comparable and the quality of Fareway's fresh produces and most importantly meat is so much better. All the employees are super friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help the customers. Another advantage of shopping here is that not only does their meat department have an extensive variety of cuts of meat but if they do not regularly have what you are looking for you can special order it and they will do their best to get it for you.
