Five Guys — Restaurant in Papillion

Walked in, 2 tables had people, ( total 5 people). 1 person on the grill, no other employees. Was welcomed nicly, 2nd person finally came out, started to take order, another gentleman pushed the 2nd person out of the way to take our order. No where on the menu does it tell you the bacon cheeseburger is double patty, for one, and #2, $7.79 for a burger?????? That's not a combo either!!!!! Just burger. Guy at counter tried to compare it to a double whopper from Burger King. Guess what? $7.99 would be a combo meal While the fries are ample, a large is over $5. We ordered 3 bacon cheeseburgers, 1 large fry and 3 regular drinks, $37 later......... And you want to compare to Burger King?????? Burger was good, not great as you would be lead to believe with all the "supposed" media hype all over the walls. It was over cooked, edges were over cooked, ( hamburger should not have a crunch), took almost 15 minutes to get food, and we were the only ones ordering as the 5 in the store already had their food. Apon going to sit down, there are 5 high top tables and 7 double lows. 8 of these tables were completely dirty like people would have just left ( again, only 2 tables had customers). I had to go tell someone that the tables were dirty and would not sit in store until was clean. Young man came out, upset he had to clean and acting like he just didn't want to be there. As my wife and child stood by the table they wanted to sit at, the employee went to the other tables first and only when my wife asked for the one they were standing by to be cleaned did he come to clean it. The floor was a disaster area. Now mind you, this was at 130 on a Saturday, but when you walk around the store and your shoes are sticking to the floor, napkins and food all over from not being swept, makes you wonder if the crew from night before even cleaned. Bathroom was also disgusting. Reminded me of using one in a nightclub minus the alcohol. Back to the food. When you order your burger that's so what you would like on it. Even on the receipt and order it prints this. NO where on either did it say I ordered tomato, but I sure got it. Ordered lettuce, but didn't get that. Thank goodness I checked before I bit in as I'm allergic to tomato. I took it back and was told they would make another one. Great, but another 10 minute wait for food. Wife and daughter were almost done before I got to eat, yay me.... Over all, unless someone else is paying, will never go back. Food WAY over priced, store is NOT clean as a food store should be. 2 stars...

Good food but, it’s not worth the headache.

First of all, I am sad to write this review because this place was so amazing the first time I visited last year, but it must be said that the quality of service has taken a nose dive.

When I ordered, I asked for 2 large fries, which was repeated back to me, but the ticket said one. So I had to stand back in line to get the second added, which happened last time as well. Once I paid the second time, I waited and watched as the fries were put into the bag. Seemed much less than I remembered so I asked if that was all for two large fries, and was told yes, but the cups had almost nothing in them because they were just thrown in and the fries on top so they were taking up a ton of space, empty. Moved on because it wasn’t worth the time to argue. As I passed out the food to my family, we noticed the burger that was supposed to have an additional patty, on the receipt, wasn’t on the burger, so I had to again go inside and show the receipt, then wait for another patty that came in a plastic container so I had to assemble the burger. Not to mention the fries were way overcooked and should’ve just been tossed.

Honestly after multiple issues it would have been much better customer service to just make another burger at this point. I spend $40+ every time I go there, which will probably not be for a long time at this...

My wife and I went there for lunch two days ago. The guy at the counter taking our order was slouched over the counter like he was taking a nap. He wasn’t very friendly or professional. We ordered our food and went and sat down at a table. It wasn’t long before we noticed a terrible smell coming from the trash cans by the restrooms. We got up and moved to a different table so we didn’t have to smell the trash while we were trying to eat. We tried to have a conversation but the music was so loud we could not. I actually had to go outside to take a phone call because of the loud music. The floors were filthy with food and trash all over them. One of the employees was spraying down tables with a bottle of bleach that was so strong the smell was overpowering. I commented to him about but he just ignored me. When we got our food they had put the burgers at the bottom of the bag and just dumped fries on top of them to where they were overflowing from the bag. We had to actually ask for plates so we could dump out the fries to get to our burgers. This was not a to go order btw. This was without a doubt, the worst experience that I have ever had in a restaurant. I will NEVER...
