Here is an update to this review as of today Feb. 1st, getting an order to go, I took with phone and retook the pic, to review on pad. What would you do ? Takes me twenty five minutes to get over there. Did you notice the avocado on the grilled bacon cheese sandwich is black. Would you accept a sandwich like this? I am always disappointed in their bagels. I stopped buying them here because their not properly made here at the 71st location. People don't know how to prepare bread or bagels, not allowing the bread to rise. Who ever prepares these bagels has no knowledge and the manager does nothing to correct this unacceptable quality.
I bought some items to bring home and I decided to just buy a few with my order to go, so I didn't see the bagels before, until I got home, I was prompted from my son to take them back, but decided to buy them at another Panera and compare the quality and if you should get something like the product on the right side of this picture , take it BACK ! Talk to the manager if you see this quality.
I found that the Panera on west center road, never disappoints on bagel quality and the Bellevue location I have gone a few times , I have had no issues, I'll go further than where I live to get a quality product. **update 6/23, since the time of this old review. Panera had moved to a larger space with a drive thru in a nearby bay. I have purchased bagels a few times here and found the product to be satisfactory. Read moreSo I had a Uber pick up (not a delivery). I pull up to the drive thru window with my order receipt ready, I get told I can't pick up at the window and I must come into the store.( But she was pretty rude about it especially when I've done pick up through the window before and was trying to explain that to her and instead of saying no we don't do that. Just go to the front. She said no and close the window on me) So I proceed to come into Panera to pick up my order and I'm told it is on the delivery shelf. Unfortunately I am looking at my order not on the delivery shelf because it is a pickup shelf and I told her this three times now that it was for pickup. So then the lady I am talking to proceeds to come around the counter picking up my order out of the spot and telling me oh it's there because it's a pickup and not a delivery with some of the most snarky attitude I've gotten in a long time. This is absolutely disgraceful for Panera bread because I think it was your manager that treated me this way. It takes 2 seconds to be polite, but this very old blonde lady in a fully black uniform with clearly a lifetime of an experience needs customer service training and a hearing aid, I know it doesn't matter, but I personally will not be eating at the Panera bread and the Walmart plaza in Papillion,...
Read moreI was in the Panera in Papillion. Today 30 Apr 19 It was around 4:10 pm. There was en employee standing at the opposite end of the register talking to two ladies. I went and stood in line. I patiently waited for the customer in front of me to place her order, she had to ask a lot of questions. Then the cashier/employee started to fill her order while I was standing at the register. The lady that was chatting with two ladies, finally walked over to the other register and said I will help who is next in line, and before I could move over, the two ladies cut me off. I made the comment that I was next in line and said forget this and walked out.
This is the third time it has happened whenever I go in person to place an order and all I needed was two bread bowls. Which I didn't purchase.
Since I posed a problem here is a solution. You need to have a better way for customers to line up so when they ask for the next customer in line, they get the next customer in line.
Also there needs to be someone who is filling the orders so the cashier can take the order of the next person in line, and if there isn't one then can help fill orders.
