Me and my husband had reservations for anniversary. We got there a little early but still had told the hostess we were there.she had let us know to give them a few minutes and our table would be ready. she had also asked us if we would like to sit on the patio or inside. Me and my husband opted for eating out on the patio because the view. But the restaurant inside is also very beautiful. I love how they have the fresh seafood around the bar and also the fresh lobster tank in the back of the restaurant as well. I must say everything was incredible from the service to the food to the acknowledgment of me and my husband celebrating our anniversary with them at the restaurant. We got to our table and they had a candle lit table with rose petals and the card that wished us a happy anniversary with and all the staff signatures . It was soooo nice! Our waiter was super sweet and attentive and helpful we greatly appreciate it and him explaining items on the menu with us. we started off with appetizers we got the grilled octopus and the oyster Rockefeller's. Both were sooooo bomb fresh and hot !. And the potatoes that come with the octopus the flavor was so tasty. My husband loved octopus he was almost tempted to order another one. But I told him to just hold off and see if he wanted it after we ordered our entrée lol .for the entrée we went with the spiny lobster and the side of mac & cheese along with the scallops. everything was so good there's honestly nothing to complain about we were so far we weren't even able to finish the mac & cheese but it was delicious from what I was able to taste. You get complementary bread which also helps to get your full we ordered two margaritas I got the margarita Verde and my husband got the boulevard. They were both really good. The margarita Verde was so refreshing with my meal and the Boulevard was a little bit stronger but worth it. My favorite was the complementary dessert they had brought out a candle lit dessert to us which was three flavored baked cookies topped with sweet cream ice cream with an edible seahorse. It was so sweet. We definitely appreciate it . They made our special day even more amazing. We appreciate the restaurant for the amazing customer service from beginning to end. We definitely will be back and recommend this restaurant to anybody celebrating a special occasion or just for yummy seafood with...
Read moreI’m sad to write a bad review because I love this place so much! This review is both good and bad.
We love Watergrille, a beautiful place with a great menu and staff. We live hours away and travel to Vegas to have dinner and shop, then come back home. By the way we have met Markus, the then restaurant manager and he was always so pleasant and helped us celebrate multiple occasions.
My fiance and I are planning our wedding reception in Vegas and thought WATERGRILLE WILL BE THE PERFECT PLACE! Since we love their food already.. we called and setup a tasting and tour. Everything was going great.. our server was Edgar and he was so pleasant.. we tried everything we liked for our reception.. we even tried some cocktails and dessert.. absolutely delicious.
The person we talked to was not there, so we were under the impression that the entire meal would be comped. This was not the case. I quote the server said, “It’s free, right?” He ended up just bringing food he thought we would like, cocktails we would like and when we got up to leave the table for the venue tour.. there was still full drinks on the table. We were not there to take advantage, we were there to try food and make a decision.
We were going to be late for our next tour, so we were rushing to leave. The server kept telling us they needed time to figure out the bill. It’s not his fault, there was a big screw up with their team. We then get hit with a $190 bill! What happened to comped by Amy, the coordinator we spoke to days before?
We were really duped and this is a really bad business practice. We had to wait days later to get a response back from her and she apologized, admitted it was her fault about the miscommunication and didn’t offer a refund or gift card or anything else. We are talking big money here, not $200, we were willing to spend $12k or more just on our dinner reception.
Well, fast forward one week after we were there and we still have not received the information we were promised.. the contract and pricing and there has been no further communication. Sad to say we booked our reception at local competitor in the forum shops. This is a perfect demonstration of someone dropping the ball and not taking accountability. Awful that one of our favorite restaurants left us feeling duped and have lost our business for the...
Read moreSo much fun coming here! The food was more expensive, but worth the price ultimately. Their drinks are customizable, and they have the best complimentary sour bread rolls! Salty & buttery with a soft interior encapsulated by a crispy crust.
The crab cake was good, and considering it was heavier on meat than breading, I found it to be decent splitting between 3 people. We also had some wine that the waiter poured into an aerator vase. The cheapest red bottle on the menu was from 2022 and it had some bite to it.
It took maybe 30min-1hr to get the main courses to the table, for a Monday night around 8:30. The dishes all had beautiful presentation and there were a handful of servers that came out all at once to get all of the food there in the same minute.
MAINS: Shrimp Scampi - buttery noodles with garlic clove slices integrated into the sauce. Perfectly cooked shrimp.
12 Oz Tenderloin - extremely tender and chewy! We asked for medium rare and the chef was spot on. Had a delicious oil sauce that came with it.
Lobster - easy to peel out of the shell and lots of meat to it. They have the lobster tanks on display in the dining area. Coleslaw came with and was a bit heavier on the creamy side.
Ribeye - good chewy texture, cooked to medium rare as well. Good chunk of meat to work with.
SIDES: Kale - THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! GET THIS! They use a toasted hazelnut infused oil/yogurt sauce that is absolutely unique and a must try.
Brussel Sprouts - reliable side dish, easy to replicate.
Mashed Potatoes - great flavor! They came in little metal pans that felt stylish to eat out of. They were more so on the creamy side with some seasonings poking through.
DESSERT Key Lime Pie - fantastic!! We got one to go and took a nibble in the restaurant— we had to buy a second! The breading is clearly done from scratch, as it has a nice crumbly texture once you start prodding it. The meringue has a nice firmness to it with a toasted top. The lime zest pulls the flavors together well, same to the lime sauce drizzled on top. I was able to get a bit of the sauce by itself and was amazed by how flavorful a small amount was.
Overall a great visit! Good atmosphere, the waiter was very informative, gave great recommendations, and was attentive throughout our whole meal. I am excited...
