When I entered this Ross location, I was immediately greeted by an abundance of choices. From chic apparel to home decor, the variety is impressive, catering to a wide range of styles and preferences. The staff, including the loss prevention/security guards, are a highlight â courteous and welcoming, making the shopping experience quite pleasant.
However, the store seems to be playing a game of numbers, and unfortunately, the customers are on the losing side. The scarcity of staff becomes evident when you're ready to check out. The line snakes through the aisles, a testament to the store's popularity but also a clear sign of being understaffed. The wait can be long, and the absence of a quick response to call for backup is noticeable.
Adding to the shopper's test of patience is the incessant beeping of merchandise alarms. They go off frequently, yet there's often no one available to address them promptly, leaving customers in a symphony of unnecessary alarm bells.
On my first visit, the excitement of new finds was overshadowed by the daunting line that stretched halfway back through the store. The prospect of a long wait led me to leave my selections behind and exit empty-handed. It's a missed opportunity for both the customer and the store.
While Ross offers a treasure trove of items at competitive prices and the staff on the floor are nothing short of delightful, the shopping experience could be significantly improved with more hands on deck and a smoother checkout process. Here's hoping for a better balance that matches the store's potential with its...
Read moreI usually like Ross stores but I HATED this one! It's packed with people and with items. Certain parts of the store have little to no selection and then areas like juniors tops or plus size are packed so close together that it's hard to see what's there. Nothing is labeled right and there is no cohesive order as to where things are located. It took forever to find anything in my size (or anything for that matter) and then when I did find it the items had holes in them or stains from beimg dropped on the floor and walked all over. It took forever to get into the dressing room and the woman just kept talking to me in a huffy tone in spanish. She refused to speak english and kept huffing at me while I tried to do what she was asking. After trying on my items I had to wait in a line with tons of people and quite a few of the registers only accepted cash or only accepted card. I almost set my stuff down and just walked out. A few people did. Being in such a prominent location you would think this store would be better but it's one of the worst ross stores I've...
Read moreYou've got to do better. It's not fair to your cashier to have one cashier on the busy Las Vegas strip. There were 26 people in line for 40 minutes, and customers were yelling at your poor cashier, as we witnessed. There were a lot of your employees walking around talking to each other, doing nothing, just walking around while one cashier is struggling, and I waited for 40 minutes so I was walking out. I asked the cashier if there was a reason why this keeps going off. Did you forget to remove a tag? She said no, I got them. Security said, yeah, most of the time it goes off for no reason, so I didn't really have time to stop and start checking everything. I took their word for it and put it in my trunk because at that point I was going home back to Denver, so I was on a time limit. I get home and they didn't remove all the tags. It's my fault because I didn't pay attention before I left, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Any other time you want to check receipts, you couldn't check this weak...
