Like myself, you might have seen this place on social, with their eye-catching potato variations. I'm happy to say that it's not just hype, and the food not only looks good but also tastes great. Oh and exceptional service.
Do you need to have a lobster tail on top of your lobster mac & cheese sitting on a baked potato? No. But is it really good and captures the extravagance of what Vegas is? Yes! It is a lot but it just works very well together. I thought they would skimp on the lobster in the mac & cheese since there is also a lobster tail on top, but they did not at all. Mac & cheese had a good cheesy flavor without being too salty. Then when you eat everything with the baked potato it balances out nicely and makes for a hearty whole meal.
The lobster roll is not the cold variation, just FYI. It's packed with lobster, a buttery flavor, and was executed quite well. I don't think they actually make the roll in-house (could be wrong), but it was so soft and toasted well which just worked so perfectly as the housing for the lobster. I don't think it needed it but feel free to add the extra butter that comes along with it.
Besides the seafood, they also have birria tacos. I really thought these would be an afterthought and not be that good. But glad I was wrong. It was some of the best birria I've had in a while. Mainly because it really had that beef flavor and was not dried out. Dipped in the consume and the salsa which had a nice spice made for an enjoyable bite. One that you want to keep on having.
They are located in the food court close to M&M World which is more south strip. They along with Dirt Dog are the main draws in the food court since everything else is the usual, everyday fast food. It was busy when I was there but tables seemed to open up pretty quickly as people finished their meals. It's a food court on the Las Vegas Strip, so take that into account when imagining how the vibe is. I could see this place being in one of the newer fancier food halls but then it would just cost that much more.
What made the meal even better was all the staff. From ordering the food to the staff that checked on us as we ate the meal, they were all so friendly and really seemed to care that we enjoyed the food. Better service than I've had at sit-down restaurants.
If you are in Vegas, be sure to check them...

My recent visit to this delightful little establishment was nothing short of spectacular. We decided to indulge in a culinary adventure by ordering the Birria King, the Original Groupie, and the Birria Fries. From the moment our order arrived, it was evident that we were in for a treat.
First and foremost, the portion sizes were incredibly generous. The Birria King, in particular, was a monster of a meal. It was so huge that it could easily satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. The sheer volume of food for the price was impressive, making it a fantastic value for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
But what truly sets Rock N' Potato apart is the taste. Every bite was an explosion of flavors that I can only describe as pure culinary bliss. The Birria King, with its succulent meat and luscious toppings, was an absolute showstopper. The Original Groupie, with its combination of crispy potatoes and savory ingredients, was a perfect blend of textures and flavors. And the Birria Fries? Well, they were a revelation, taking an already incredible dish to a whole new level.

Read moreI was a little disappointed after reading the menu online. I should’ve done better research but this place had such great reviews and how could I turn down anything that is called The Fleetwood Mac and cheese potato with lobster?! Well as it turns out the place was extremely difficult to find not being from Las Vegas. It was a challenge but we finally made it. It’s in a food court off the strip that’s kinda sketchy if you ask me. I thought it would be a sit down restaurant. We decided to still try the food. The “lobster” is actually called something clever and I had to ask what it was. It’s a combination of seafood with some lobster in it. There is a $35 version with a lobster tail on top of it called the Fleetwood Mac Daddy, but, I ended up ordering the regular Fleetwood Mac. The potato and the Mac and cheese were very filling and the portion was large. The “lobster” was good. Two of us could have realistically split it. The rest of my family each ordered the “lobster” roll and they thought it was pretty good and would order it again. The service was less than welcoming with the hand written signs everywhere that said NO Refills on the drinks and you can’t create your own potato, maybe open your own restaurant if you’re wanting that. 🙄 If I’m spending close to $80 for two adults and a kid, I would’ve hoped that the fountain drink could at least come with one refill, especially how hot it was and we still needed beverages after searching all over the place for it. The sketchy food court had signs hanging that mentioned you could only occupy the seat for 30 minutes which seemed strange but I’m going to assume it was because of the location and maybe homeless people, I’m not really sure. I did think the pics posted everywhere of customers and Fleetwood Mac posters were pretty cool. They also played the band’s music. Next time I’d prob...
