If I could give 0 stars, I would. Where do I begin? Alex is unprofessional, rude, and dismisses/denies all of his poor craftmanship. My now, wife, bought my engagement ring from Alex. Yes, I love the ring, but we had to have it repaired THREE times in under one year. The first time a diamond fell out on the band (in under 6 months of having this ring). I go to Alex and ask him to repair it. Upon picking my ring up, Alex digs into his pocket, pulls out a wad of cash, shakes the wad of cash, and out falls my diamond ring into his hand. I proceed to ask, "where is my ring box I brought my ring in?" He had not a clue, and gave me a new ring box. I leave hoping to never enter his store again. Unfortunately, I was back only months later where ANOTHER diamond fell out. When I walk into his store, a female co-worker of his proceeds to come over to me, not knowing my history with Alex and says "this is not something that happens to our rings, it must be something you are doing." I was flabbergasted, and responded with, "actually my sister in law has been back multiple times for this reason and this is my second time back for this reason within months so I do not appreciate your lie." They proceed to fix my ring, and get ready everyone, they MISPLACED my ring. I return to pick up my ring and Alex cannot locate my ring. He says "it is the black onyx, right?" To which I completely blank stare at him, and say absolutely not. It is a princess cut, diamond ring. He could not find it. He sent me home crying, saying "I cannot find your ring right now, but will call when I do." I left the store crying. A couple of hours later I get a voicemail from Alex's worker saying, "we found your ring, you can come pick it up." Not apologizing, showing no empathy whatsoever. My mom went to pick up the ring because I never wanted to see this man again. You think it ends here? I wish. About a month later ANOTHER diamond falls out, and I had had enough, I went to a family recommended jeweler who stated, "we want to be respectful, but we also want to let you know that this ring is very poorly constructed." They fixed the ring for me, and I went to Alex's shop one last time. I walked in to explain how horrible I think his business is. How horrible his workers treat their consumers. He has the nerve to smirk, did not apologize, and walked away from me after I said I will never recommend or use your business again. Thankfully, since going to a good, honest jeweler, the ring has been restored and is in good condition now. My message to you is DO NOT GO TO ALEX...unless you want to be disappointed and treated poorly to the point where he makes you cry than he is...

This will be my second review- 3 years after my first. I brought Alex my grandmothers beautiful platinum diamond watch/bracelet. This was an engraved stunning piece that my grandfather gave my grandmother in 1959. I had Alex use all the diamonds from this gorgeous bracelet and design a pair of earrings and a diamond eternity band. I stood there in shock when I picked them up. They are the most beautiful and sentimental pieces of jewelry that I could have asked for. Thank you so much Alex! I would recommend over and over again!
