Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Paramus

Krispy Kreme advertised a special promotion today only for graduating seniors. “Wear your graduating cap and you’ll get a dozen donuts free”. This group of students missed out on so much because of the pandemic. Schools closed and remote learning happened most of the year. Traditional senior year celebrations canceled all throughout the year because of the pandemic. Their senior trip canceled because of the pandemic. Ohhh the list goes on....and on... My daughter arrives at 8:45 pm at the Paramus NJ Krispy Kreme with her friends. They were refused entry into the parking lot after they drove 20 minutes to get there. They were arriving this late because they had sports after school. ... And because of the pandemic the sports seasons have been cut short—for those sports even allowed.

AND WHAT DOES THE STAFF AT THIS LOCATION DO? The staff screams at the girls and wouldn’t let them park in the establishment lot and wouldn’t serve them donuts that were advertised FOR THEM! Not even 1 donut.

This is NOT about the donuts but rather the hostility that these girls were met with. And the business not serving them .....because they wanted to go home early! Horrible sad way to treat customers. Sad that yet again these kids experienced disappointment when this could have been a happy moment with fun memories.

SHAME ON YOU KRISPY KREME PARAMUS STAFF. Shame on you! I’d give a zero if that was an option. Your donuts are amazing but...your staff needs a course in...

We went inside for a regular “Hotlight Hours” but this krispy creme doesn’t have it, unfortunately so that’s a bummer ( we are from Michigan) BUT my main issue isn’t that. My issue was the quality of food and drink. From the photos I’ve shown, the quality wasn’t as up to its expectations from other locations nor did it look normal then usual. The drink was already separating when we got it, it had the sweet flavour which we had loved but there was a big sour aftertaste. Which led me to perhaps gotten sick or the donuts we got from here (10mins after eating it). The donuts were just horrible, I’m very sorry but that is just my experience. We got half a dozen of classic glaze ( the best ones) and were so excited for them, unfortunately it wasn’t as expected. It wasn’t fully glazed all around and tasted just alittle funny. I’m not even complaining about how cold they were but how this batch was made. I’m not sure if they added something or not but I was just not feeling well overall after eating the donut and drink ( overall just threw it all out after the second bite. We just wanted to make sure it wasn’t us but the donut).

Overall, the employees were okay and nice but the quality of food we got was not great. Unfortunately won’t be coming back to this location and will try another since I do love the donuts but this locations quality isn’t...

I was informed of a major Krispy Kreme promotion going on where the first 500 KK donuts would be free to customers. What they very slickly did not notate is that they did not mention if there is a limit on how many donuts each one customer can buy, and also, can employees hold donuts on the side for themselves & family members.

This made these very real possibilities because when I arrived to not one but TWO empty KK Donut establishments nearby each other, I didn’t even say anything when I walked in (only about 45mins after opening) and the store mgr volunteered to make a statement to the grand total of 8 of us and say they have already gave away all 500 free donuts.

I’ve never seen such a blatant scam that was designed to just get customers in the door to make them feel like, oh well, we’ll just BUY something else since we came all the way here anyway.

NO, that’s BS. I was promised a promotion, arrived within an hour and they’re gonna tell me they got rid of all 500 donuts and in not one but TWO KK places in very close proximity to each other. That’s basically 1,000 donuts and there’s NO CHANCE they gave away 1,000 donuts in under an hour, ESP when I walked into two stores that didn’t even have ten people in line.

This was a very dirty scam KK did and I, and I hope many others, NEVER patronize this lying, cheating, sneak scam...
