After calling ahead and visiting TWICE in person to figure out the best measurements for my husband who needs extended sizing, we purchased his groomsman suit for a close family member's wedding. Confirmation of the sizing (pants in the largest size available for that style) was made by multiple staff members, including the manager, and they fit perfectly at that initial try on.

The suit arrived in a very timely fashion which was much appreciated, but the customer service upon returning to try it on for alterations was honestly demoralizing. It was only a week later but the pants were too small by several inches. We reconfirmed the size on the tag with what I had in my notes, but it still did not work out for some reason.

When my husband was feeling upset/uncomfortable/a bit panicked about the situation, the manager snipped at me that I was not allowed in the MENS DRESSING AREA. He proceeded to say without discretion that it was already the largest size available, and their "master tailor" would have to come to take a look to "see what could be done." The tailor barely even looked for a second and said sorry we can't do anything more to help you, and we were recommended to a local men's custom tailor and shuffled out the door. We left feeling awful.

In the end, we found another local tailor with better reviews who immediately determined the pants needed to be let out to the max seam allowance and magically they fit perfectly with that small fix. No judgement, just a little bit of caring.

Went there for my wedding suit. Nice young man started to help us. He was trying his best, and then an older gentleman came to help out. The young man shadowed us for the remainder, which was fine with us, and good for him to learn. Well this guy was no joke! Hooked me up with a real sweet suit (both me and my fiancée loved it). Sized just right so I didn't have to upgrade to the custom one ($$$). Grabbed some awesome shoes that we loved immediately. Go the tailor to size me, which was very quick and easy. Next up, the tie. He ran to wherever, and came back with an amazing tie that we loved (wound up being the winner). There was some sale, so we got 2 (2nd one to match another wedding). Sale on shirts, so got one for my wedding, and one for the other wedding to go with my black suit at home. He picked out a pocket square for my wedding that we loved. Lastly, came over with 3 perfect belts to match the shoes. Fiancée picked the one she liked the most, and time to check out. Well, those items added up pretty quick, especially since I'm not one who buys suits often. All in for a nice suit, tailored, shoes, 2 ties, 2 shirts, square and a belt, just over $800. Extremely unpleasant experience while attempting to return items. I tried returning a dress shirt that I was dissatisfied with due to it wrinkling extremely easily. It was only worn an hour and was clean, and in perfect condition. I also tried returning shoes due to discomfort and poor fit. They only were worn for about 30 minutes. There was a little bit of dirt on the bottom of the shoes, that could have been easily been wiped off. That was probably my bad for no doing so before returning.

I was given an extremely hard time about this return, and was repeatedly accused of buying these items for an event with the intention of returning them. It’s worth mentioning that in the same visit of buying the shirt and shoes, I bought a $400+ suit that did not want to return due to my satisfaction. I spoke with 2 employees as well as the manager, and each of them lectured me and falsely accused me. Accept the return or not, you can’t treat customers this way.

This was very disappointing as I’ve been a Josabank’s customer for many events, including my own wedding, and have always had a positive experience at other stores. I understand that others may try to take advantage of returns, but I was simply returning items I was dissatisfied with. They did eventually reimburse me, but they were extremely rude in...
