We always order a large pie whether we want 1 or 2 slices or the whole thing. Reason is because we like a fresh pie and when you order from any place by the slice it is from the ready made ones and they are reheated. Pizza is not the same when reheated which is why we do that. Placed an order last night for a large plain pie but 2 of the slices with mushroom. Instead when we showed up and the gentleman handed me 2 boxes and said because they misunderstood and made it a mushroom pie with 2 plain slices so they heated 3 plain slices to go with the pie. I have a few issues with that. First- it was supposed to be 6 slices plain and 2 mushroom.. so now we walked out with only 5 plain but no big deal- we weren't eating the whole pie anyway. The second issue is when we got home, the 3 reheated slices were rock-hard... obviously because it wasn't fresh and was reheated but I was still surprised at how hard they were. And finally, and this was the biggest deal for me.. is when I went in, they already had it "resolved" and had the slices warmed up and everything.. so they realized their mistake before we even showed up and could have fixed it without us even knowing but they were more concerned about taking a loss with a pie than doing what is right. I could have said all this to him but I felt bad asking for a new one when they were closing. But had I known the 3 reheated slices were not edible I would have just canceled the order. 3 stars because the fresh pie was great for those who...
Read moreI went to curb pick up my order today. I was told to go inside when I called. 1) governor Murphy put in effect that business that stay open are to have curb pick up. This pizzeria I guess is special and overrides governor Murphy.
When I walked inside to pickup my order I noticed a construction worker who stated that he was told there was curb pick up , since he placed a big order for his workers and he had no mask.
A Paramus police got up in his face and started to slandering him in front of me and the pizzeria workers because he was told he could curb pick up like I was told. The pizzeria owner or worker told him next time he needs to wear a mask and the construction worker was apologetic. I don't understand why the police harassed him if they were wrong dining in and had no masks.
When the construction worker left they were badmouthing the construction worker, who btw looks like he works really hard.

Read moreStay away from this place. Food is average, but the scamming they do with the amount that they charge you is bordering to scamming scheme. They ask you are you paying with credit or cash, you say credit, then you ask what is the total, and they tell you $37.08, you add $3 for delivery and tell them to make it $40. Next thing you know is you get charged $42.52??? When I called them back they were giving me all kind of excuses, like taxes. Then when the $37.08 proved to be with tax, they told me that it was a surcharge, and they don't know what the problem is???? Why not saying upfront they there will be a surcharge, since they know that a CC will be used? If they do that to 100 orders per day, imagine how many people will be charged extra without knowing. At least at some places they will tell you that there will be CC surcharge, but not here, and they would make you ashamed for trying to figure out why they charged you extra. NO THANK YOU, ANTHONY FRANCO! NO...
