Bagel Emporium — Restaurant in Paramus

The bagels here were fantastic. The lines were out the door, but I could see why. If you want a good bagel, I recommend visiting here before venturing to Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow. I got a rainbow bagel with canoli cream cheese. I usually get plain cream cheese but decided to try something different. And it did not disappoint! Tasted just like canoli and the mini chocolate chips were tasty. The other cream cheese and bagel flavors looked equally delicious. My husband got the tuna salad on plain, which was excellent as well. The bagels were crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. They were so good that I returned again the next day to get some to go (another rainbow, French toast, and plain). They also have black and orange colored Halloween themed bagels that weren't listed on their online menu.

Most of all, they were efficient and friendly. Pleasant attitude and helpful. Would recommend coming here if you are visiting Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow (and it's nearby too) or to any of their...

Bagel Emporium is hands down the best bagel spot in Paramus! The bagels are always fresh, perfectly chewy on the inside with that crisp bite on the outside exactly how a real New Jersey bagel should be. The variety is incredible, from classic plain and everything bagels to specialty flavors that are always baked to perfection. Their spreads and breakfast sandwiches are top notch generous portions and always delicious.

The staff is friendly, fast, and really makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time there. The service is quick, which is great on busy mornings, but they never sacrifice quality. Stay away picture will speak for itself I went in on a Saturday afternoon late morning only a few people in there. I usually go in there once or twice a week the lady at the front counter Spanish girl really pays no attention to your order and constantly screwing up orders. Any event. I did get my egg and cheese bagel And what they gave me was a retarded bagel see photo would you eat this with the owner eat this this bagel should've never of made it into the basket no quality control. It's a disgrace.
