I recently attempted to visit WRTS in Paramus with my family, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. We had two free passes to use, and nowhere on them did it state a limit of one per family per session. However, when we arrived, we were met with confusion, rudeness, and a complete lack of customer service.
Upon entering, we stood waiting for at least five minutes while the only staff member in sight was engaged in what seemed like a party consultation. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just silence while our already limited open play time (1–3 PM) ticked away. Finally, she got someone from the office to help us, but there were no pleasantries, just a blunt question: “Do you need to pay for two?”
I explained that we had two passes we wanted to use. Without any courtesy, she immediately told us, “No, you can only use one at a time.” I pointed out that I had two kids, and she still refused, saying she needed to check. As I began filling out waivers, she conferred with the first employee, who, from across the room, coldly reinforced, “No, you can only use one.” When I pointed out that the passes say nothing about a one-per-family limit, she dismissively doubled down, saying we could only use one today and would have to pay for the other child.
The worst part? She insisted that their system would have known my kids were from the same family—even though we had never been there before. To top it off, she referred to one of my daughters as a boy, which was not only incorrect but also unprofessional.
This experience made it clear that this location needs serious improvements in customer service, employee training, and how they structure their promotional passes. If they’re going to impose restrictions, they need to state them clearly. And above all, treating customers with basic courtesy should not be optional. This was my first attempt at visiting, and clearly my last. Good luck to this gym and hope the staff has the day...

I recently brought my class on a field trip to We Rock the Spectrum and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! My students have a range of disabilities, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and supportive. They truly understand the needs of neurodivergent children and go above and beyond to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children of all abilities.
One of the standout aspects of this gym is how clean and well-maintained everything is. It’s clear that the staff takes great care in ensuring the equipment is sanitized and in excellent condition, which is so important for the children’s safety and well-being. The space is sensory-rich but also thoughtfully designed to prevent overstimulation, making it perfect for children with sensory processing challenges.
I also love that We Rock the Spectrum collaborates with speech pathologists, ABA centers, and other related service providers. This level of partnership shows their commitment to not just play, but also functional growth and development for every child who walks through their doors. The variety of equipment, from swings to climbing structures, allows children to explore movement in a way that supports their individual sensory needs.
Another huge plus is that their pricing is very fair, making it an accessible option for families and schools looking for a high-quality sensory-friendly experience. It’s refreshing to see a facility that provides so much value without being cost-prohibitive!
This place is truly a game-changer for families and educators looking for a space that is inclusive, therapeutic, and fun. I highly recommend it to any school, therapy center, or family looking for a sensory-friendly space where children can thrive! We will absolutely be...
Read moreHaving my daughter's 3rd birthday party at We Rock the Spectrum was a wonderful experience! Planning with their team was easy, and we were thrilled with the party the day of. More importantly, so was our little one! She and her friends had a blast, and many parents commented how clean and fun the gym was. There were arts and crafts, a zip line, kiddo-safe trampoline, play kitchens and rocket ships, swings, and more - something for every kid. Will was a huge help managing the kids and making sure they were playing safely, Elizabeth cleaned between parties and while the children were playing which brought us a lot of comfort, and Carolina was fantastic with setting up the party room and serving parents and guests. Doris, one of the owners, was also great at making sure things were running smoothly and on time, answering all my questions throughout the party. Everyone was super helpful and polite. We're so glad we booked here and can't wait to take our daughter...
