Do not do business with these people. They do not care about the customer and it really shows. Due to very poor packaging on the stores part my product arrived damaged. When I contacted them they immediately blamed the shipper, if it were FedEx fault then that would be one thing but this is not that situation. I simply asked if I could return the product since this was the fault of Specialty Traders staff and they told me I could return it if I paid for shipping. So not only do they not package your items with care, they do not rectify their own mistakes. They also told me to contact the company that made the product I purchased and ask them to replace the limited edition packaging, even though it’s the companies yearly event weekend in Akron right now and everyone in this industry knows that. Do not do business with these people. Blocked me on social media because I asked them to pay for return shipping. EDIT/UPDATE: An employee of EarthQuaker reached out to me before I even contacted them to see if they could help me out (great company EQD) and solved the issue caused by the store. Only after contacting the store to tell them I would be closing the PayPal case because EarthQuaker resolved the issue, did they finally accept the return through PayPal............ POST STORE RESPONSE: PayPal didn't deny anything lol. I can post all the correspondence here. The store claims to have resolved the issue with the packaging, they did not. You also cant leave a review of this business on Facebook, per conversation with the company lol. The only review was left on google. Did not spam 50 posts in 10 minutes. It was more like 6 and one bad review. Also there was probably 32 messages on Facebook messenger (over the course of a conversation with them) but thats because the store was reading responses and then not answering and then claiming they dont make mistakes when it comes to packaging. Absolutely terrible company that can't just be like we messed up we will take take of it lol. They also claim to have reached out to EarthQuaker to replace the packaging (not just the slip cover but the actual box was also damaged). They did not, I was contacted by an employee from EarthQuaker on a Facebook forum after posting the photo also posted in this review. Nothing but lies from this company lol. You can also clearly see from the photo that the slip cover was not just bent lol. *Added photo of email from PayPal saying they accepted the return (but only after I told them I would be cancelling the paypal case because EQD already took care of this companies mistake)* The PayPal case was only opened because the company would not respond to any emails or messages after several attempts to get them to pay return shipping, the bottom line here is the product arrived in a condition that wasn't acceptable, they refused to pay for return shipping, and then claim to have solved the issue when they did no such thing. They're even trying to take credit for contacting the manufacturer and having them replace the packaging which is a complete lie.

Extremely disappointed. I recently purchased a new guitar pedal from them on Reverb.com The pedal was listed for an incredible sale price. I purchased and paid for the pedal, and an hour later, my order was cancelled and my money was refunded. They immediately raised the price of the item. When I contacted them inquiring about this, they were extremely dismissive and just said "pricing error ." The Sale price was a substantial discount, and it was an incredible deal. I believe them that it was an error in pricing, but once a price has been listed for sale, and paid for, then the transaction should be final. I am 100 percent not worried about the pedal, the amount of money the pedal costs, or receiving any compensation from this company. I believe it is unethical business to advertise a product for a set price (regardless of an error), and then cancel the purchase after a payment has been made, and then raise the price. Then to be so dismissive when inquiring about the issue is enough to cause me to write this negative review. Please see the attached pictures to view their correspondence that I believe to be dismissive and far from professional.

Specialty Traders seems to be one of the few stores that actually has GR Bass products in stock, and quite a few at that. I had been eyeing a NF 210V Combo 800 (beautiful, super-light piece) for ages and was finally able to pull the trigger. Not only did I find an unexpected 5% discount on the amp in my cart, but there was also no tax added and the shipping was free. As a result, I added a strap, strap locks, strings, and the GR amp cover to the order. I sent the order late Sunday night, and it was delivered by early Tuesday afternoon. The packing was practically bomb proof, keeping everything safe and sound. I will DEFINITELY be keeping this store in mind for any future needs.

I purchased and paid for the pedal, and an hour later, my order was cancelled and my money was refunded. They immediately raised the price of the item. Specialty Traders seems to be one of the few stores that actually has GR Bass products in stock, and quite a few at that. I had been eyeing a NF 210V Combo 800 (beautiful, super-light piece) for ages and was finally able to pull the trigger. Not only did I find an unexpected 5% discount on the amp in my cart, but there was also no tax added and the shipping was free. Just ordered an LTD Kirk Hammett Signature from Specialty Guitars. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I called in and ordering was simple. Shipping was stupid fast. I ordered the product on Friday morning and got it on Sunday. The guitar I ordered has an incredibly small and disclosed upfront chip in the back of the neck. It would be hard to notice if I did not already know about it. Here is the upside/downside: I believe this guitar to be brand new and fresh from the factory. I say this because the Floyd Rose was not set-up at all and there was either polishing compound on the fret board or it was incredibly dry. Lastly, there was a wood screw instead of a metric bolt used in the batter cover plate and it was frozen. I had to pull the brass grommet out to get the battery cover off.

Why 4 stars? Because the price could not be beat. A new guitar for far less than anywhere else. If you do not know how to do home maintenance on your instruments, this may not be the place to go. If you know how to set up your own gear, or regularly have a pro do it, Specialty Traders can provide some incredible deals with...
