Extremely Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience
I dropped off my husband’s dress shirts on Thursday, with the ticket stating they would be ready the next day. Due to a “machine breakdown,” the shirts were delayed, but we received no communication on Friday about the issue or that our order would not be ready until after Monday (Labor Day). While I understand machines break down, the lack of communication and attentiveness to the matter was unacceptable.
When we tried to pick them up, the staff claimed the shirts were sent to another location, but they could not give me a clear answer on which one. I had to call each nearby store myself and received no clear information. Eventually, I had to go to the store in person to make them locate the shirts. My husband had already been there once that morning.
The staff on duty were untrained and unsure how to handle the situation, there was no genuine apology, and I had to request the shirts be refunded myself. There was also no manager on duty or available for resolution. When the shirts were finally found, they were wet and not properly handled.
My husband has a business trip this Tuesday, and the whole experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope management addresses these issues so future customers aren’t put through the...
Read moreEDIT: I am editing my review to 5 Stars because Tide was so quick to address the issue and satisfy a happy customer. I put my work shirts in for laundry. Two shirts were returned with broken buttons. One broken button on each shirt. To make matters worse, I had taken a safety pin and attached the broken button to the sleeve, where the button was. They wash the shirt with the broken button and safety pin and returned it with the safety pin. Then sent the shirts back pointing out to the broken buttons. They brought the shirts back to me different color buttons that were on the shirt. They gave me yellow buttons when all the rest of the buttons on the shirt or white. Now I have to send the shirts back to show them what they did wrong and that if they were to say, we didn’t have white buttons, there are white buttons attached to these shirts on the shirt label. The ironic thing about it is that the advertising collateral for tide it states “seven point hand in inspection“. That means these people inspected my shirts seven times and still sent me back shirts with broken buttons. The next time they sent the shirts back with yellow buttons. if anybody should know that replacement buttons are attached to labels of shirts, I would expect dry cleaning, humongous, dry...
Read moreGenerally a good cleaner. Used them before several times never had an issue. I got my wedding gown cleaned. I am aware that sometimes it can cause the beads to come off. This is not what I have concerns about. What bothered me was that my wedding gown was covered with black lint all over it. I thought there were dirt on the dress. It was lint but they were all over my gown. The only two workers at the front couldn’t tell me why it happened. Manager was not in store and they had to call her. They said she left at 3pm. I then asked where is my original bag for my gown. I looked over and saw my bridal gown cover bag was placed with someone else’s clothes inside. My wedding gown only had a plastic cover on it. What bothered me is the lack of care of my gown. Your store is an experienced cleaner. You understand that wedding gowns are delicate and very ornate with all the beads and crystals etc. I feel you are not paying enough attention when you cared for my gown. I also found a lot of beads being pulled. The general lack of care on my gown disappoints me. I do not recommend getting your wedding gown...
