I have lived at FountainGlen at Pasadena since it opened on December 1, 2003. In my 17 years here I have been very happy and it continues to get better. For me FountainGlen has everything I need. The location in the Playhouse District is superb as one can reach anything you need by foot. For example, grocery, department stores, Vroman’s bookstore, restaurants and theater are within walking distance. The apartment building is attractive, well-built and exceedingly well maintained. The layouts of the individual apartments are well designed and very livable and each apartment has a good-sized, lovely private balcony. Amenities include a beautifully furnished, large open courtyard, a community room, a hot tub jacuzzi and a well equipped exercise room. However, the staff and the people are what makes FountainGlen at Pasadena such a special apartment home. The administrative staff (Eunice and Amber) and the maintenance staff (Reggie and Chris) always put 100% effort into getting the job well done. Reggie and Chris respond quickly to residents’ maintenance requests with efficient resolution of the problem. The management skills, kindness and genuinely caring attitude of Eunice and her assistant Amber have fostered a spirit of community and friendship here at FountainGlen. The FountainGlen community is an eclectic and accomplished group and Eunice and Amber have developed a real community spirit here as a result of the events and social interactions they have arranged. As an example of their thoughtfulness on Mother’s’ Day they came to each resident’s apartment to offer them coffee and a Krispy Kreme donut. Finding FountainGlen Pasadena was a life saver! As a way over 55+ resident, I feel very comfortable here. The gated community and secured parking make me feel safe. I appreciate the office and maintenance staff, Eunice, Amber, Reggie, and Chris are all professional, efficient, and approachable. They are fair in the way they run things, and I know I can take any concerns to them with no worries. I appreciate how they go out of their way for residents, with parties, and other activities to maintain a community here, which gives us the opportunity to know our neighbors, and make new friends. On Mother's Day Eunice and Amber brought coffee and donuts to us in our apartments thus helping us celebrate. It was a beautiful thing to do. The unit is laid out perfectly for a disabled person, including the hall bath which is wheelchair accessible. The tub, and shower in the other bath, have safety rails. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and includes a microwave oven, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The balcony is perfect for a small herb garden and perfect place to hang a hummingbird feeder. The building is quiet, and residents respect each other. There are quiet places with plenty of shade in the courtyard where we can sit either alone, or with friends. There is a giant chess set, and a lovely fountain. This is my first 55+ apartment and I have had a wonderful experience from application to move-in September 2022. The Community Manager Eunice is AMAZING!!! I hope she stays here forever! Smart, Efficient, Organized, Compassionate and Fair. The communication between Eunice and her team members Jeanette, Matt and Bernie is excellent and they execute their jobs with perfection! My apartment was just gorgeous upon move in. MATT is the man! He could not have done any more to make my apartment ready for move in than he did. Bernie has also been so helpful in making the building first rate. Eunice and her assistant manager Jeanette work so well together and their follow-up on any of my questions or requests has been prompt and positive! The other tenants are so friendly and they make a new tenant feel welcome. But it all starts at the top with our Community Manager. My grand-daughter loves to visit me here often when I pick her up after school. She refers to our visits as going to the resort! I feel so lucky to be living here where it is beautiful, safe and conveniently 9 miles away...
