A little over a year ago, we walked in and dropped $20,000 on appliances. It was quick because I knew what I wanted. These appliances were stored for 10 months as our home was being completely renovated. We lived back in, and within 4 months our Miele dishwasher doesn’t work. The contact that helped us, and referred by our contractors, Raymond, got back after a day or so, and basically said “tough luck,” you’re out of warranty (1 year). It took the urging of our contractor to get Raymond in motion to get someone from Miele to fix the problem (of our 4 months of using this dishwasher). Still waiting. Turns out, Raymond told our contractor that we didn’t get an extended warranty. Guess what?! Raymond never offered a two year extended warranty or, we would have purchased! Our contractors have gone back to ask for it in arrears, and Raymond said “no. Time of purchase or too bad.” Such a bummer. Their customer service sucks. You don’t know what you don’t know…2 stars only because so faar we love our Fisher Paykel induction range, but we shall see. **Update: we never heard back from owner…surprise, surprise. Tech came to house for the almost $2,000 Miele dishwasher that may have been used 20 times since moving back into our remodel. Tech is ordering a part from Germany 🙄 and said it will likely not work as these appliances don’t do in the US as they are meant for the power grid in Europe, not here. Would have been so nice for Raymond to share this information, along with an extended warranty-that’s was never mentioned to us at time of sale. Cannot recommend Synder Diamond. Our 5-year old energy efficient washing machine without an agitator needed to be rebalanced several times with each load. Jason at Snyder Diamond in Pasadena helped us and we decided to get the Speed Queen Classic for about $1300 when he asked us why we needed it. We explained, and he said, "I'd love to sell you a new machine, but those machines without agitators have to be absolutely level. Have you checked the level of the machine?" We went home and leveled the machine. It took less than 3/16" adjustment. But that did the trick. The machine runs fine now.
