I just called customer services at this location with an issue. The manager refused to give me her name or employee number. When I asked for it she said "have a good day" and then hung the phone up on me. She had a Hispanic accent. The date is 8/3/17 I spoke with her at 12:20pm pst.
My issue is that I ordered shelving to be picked up at this location 8/10 because I'm flying in from out of town to do an art show. I ordered the shelving which said it would be delivered to the store by the 9th. I've spoke with two people from customer service that have told me they hold on to the order for 3-5 business days. I got a message saying that my order was ready to pickup the day after I ordered. I called to have them hold it until the 10th since originally it quoted the 9th online. The lady told me the only thing I could do is reorder at a later date and that they only hold it until midnight after it gets there. If the site is quoting me 9 days out then I can't reorder at a later date. I told her that the lady I spoke with that handed her the phone just told me that it was 3-5 days and not until midnight. She then told me that the lady that handed her the phone knew it was to midnight and didn't tell me that. I asked her if she was calling me a lier and then asked her for her name or employee number and she said, "have a nice day" and hung the phone up. This is ridiculous. Read moreI usually don't write reviews but I was astonished by one particular sales floor team member Michael, he has glasses, is light skinned w/mustache and beard, with really short hair. I seen other michaels or "mike's" there which is why I'm describing him. If you visit this store and in need of finding something or have questions He is your Guy! Definitely look for him, I've seen him around the toys and laundry departments in the evenings. I go to this target a lot, for almost everything and he is the only one that assists me with anything and everything! Since target has switched there departments around sometimes i have trouble finding things or wondering if they even have the item im looking for and at times I have asked other team members for items and they seem like they don't even want to assist me. Each time I've seen michael he always has a great upbeat friendly personality and attitude. He is very familiar with his store and departments and will be able to lead you in the right direction if needed. I'm absolutely amazed by his overall expertise, willingness to go above and beyond to assist any guest. He is the only one the checks the back room for me, as Ive heard from other team members "this is all we have". -_- . The store is nice, and organized, there is a target closer to me but I prefer this one, and now I refer all my friends and family to this Target and advise them to look for Michael. Read moreBe really vigilant checking items for expiration dates. Was in the store tonight (8/24) for several items and could not locate or buy them because they were either out (which I understand), or WAY expired. Here’s a photo of one, with an expiration date from JULY. Another huge stack was from August 10 (also expired), and I also located yogurts with expiration dates from weeks ago, as well as chicken tenders that expired earlier this week. I would have taken more photos, but my phone died. There were lots of things I couldn’t buy due to the condition of the items.
In addition - teenagers were running throughout the store bouncing into things and knocking things over, employees were not friendly and unhelpful (and didn’t seem to care about the former), and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. They’re in the middle of refurbishing the bathrooms and reorganizing the store, so the employees may just be burnt out, and I feel sorry for them. But management really needs help. In addition to all of the above items, their bathrooms have always been in deplorable, unsanitary conditions (feces smeared on walls, paper everywhere, etc.) and I’ve written twice about it - now that they’re being redone, hopefully that will change…?
