Update: We finally received our dining chairs and are very pleased with the quality of them and the table. We can't fault the finish or style, we love them. Our only frustration/disappointment was with the delivery and the customer care team helped to rectifty that in the end.
ORIGINAL POST: Terrible delivery/customer service experience. We bought a table and 2 chairs in September and have a catalogue problems with the delivery. After multiple delays, the delivery company for the table scheduled delivery but when they showed up they only had 'Doorstep delivery' requested by Sundays. In all our documentation, we were meant to be having 'White Glove Service'. The customer service rep at Sundays was not helpful and I had to convince and tip the delivery company to stay and make the table for us. The 2 dining chairs have STILL not been delivered as of 14th Jan 2025. Original delivery was 28th Oct at the latest. Yesterday I received notification that only ONE out of 2 chairs is currently with the delivery partner awaiting the delivery to be scheduled. We are happy with the table quality but the delivery process has been the worst we have ever experienced. The chairs fit the table so we can't cancel the order and buy others. I can't even remember what they are like. Just want to make everyone aware of how long it will be until you receive your item after seeing it in store as the original delivery estimates were...
Read moreAside from being delighted with my purchases, I also had one of my favorite customer service experiences here ever, which compelled me to write this review.
I went in to the showroom because I was planning a move and needed some new furniture.
Specifically, I wanted to try the Movie Night sofa in-person. Zuly was my store associate and from the moment I walked in the shop she guided me through my many questions and showed me various options of both couches and the Dream bed I had been eyeing.
With her expert guidance, I realized I liked the Get Together better than the Movie Night (she also taught me some great fabric cleaning tips), and am currently writing this while snuggled into my beautiful sofa.
Zuly knew I was going to be moving and she set things up so that I could arrange to have my furniture delivered once I had moved into the new address. I also ended up ordering the bed with storage.
Both pieces have since arrived and I could not be more pleased with my purchases or the quality of the furniture. I’ll confess that about 4 hours after my new white sofa arrived, I spilled a glass of celebratory rosé all over the couch … the performance fabric held up, and there is no stain to be seen. Remarkable.
I had a small issue with one of the couch zippers, but Zuly was quick to resolve when I reached back out to the showroom.
Sundays is definitely my new favorite brand and the customer service is unmatched....
Read moreI would highly recommend going to the Sundays Company showroom in LA. It’s nestled in the back of that new luxury shopping mall, The Platform, in Culver City. I went on Sunday. Grabbed a chai latte at Blue Bottle and walked into the showroom right when it opened at 11am. I was greeted immediately by Ben. He humored all my questions about the Movie Night sectional and didn’t seem phased when I took my shoes off to lay down on it. He gave me larger than I’ve ever seen swatches of the fabric and an email with all the specs for what I was sure I wanted to order. He even applied a showroom discount (everyone who comes can get it). Then the next day when I came back (I’m bad at decisions) I got a matcha latte from Blue Bottle this time, and was greeted by another person Steffanie. She also answered 100 questions, let me lay on the Get Together model, answered 100 more questions, and then emailed me the new info for my new choice. Before I even pulled out of the parking garage, I had placed the order on my phone from their link. The confirmation email said it would arrive as soon as late February. Most other companies I’ve seen have like 10-16 week lead times. This was less than 5. I’m beyond thrilled with my decision to buy the four piece Get Together sectional, standard size oatmeal.
