When I was really down on my luck I had to stay here. It's a good place if you don't have any place to go. I would look for a room for rent rather than stay here again. The hospital rents the entire 2nd floor for people who have disabilities and need special care. So it's sometimes hard to get in and out when they do movmnts or medication time. The one bad thing is the elevator always breaks down and if you have breathing problems you get stuck inside because they won't help you get up to the third floor. But like I said if it's your only option then good luck 🤞.. the state should really look at the size of the rooms that they get 800 a month for. They don't leave the people with money to live. Because most SSI checks are only 800 dollars. I hope they reconsider their pricing so people can possibly save a little money or just enjoy their life a little better. I think people deserve a better life without people taking advantage of them. I'm surprised the state lets this happen....
Read moreI went a while ago. "Went" is a strong word, idk what people are talking about I was not let into the building. First day I knocked around and made sure I was going to the actual community center and not the apartments next door. No one ever answered despite it being well within the open hours. Sent an email, and nothing. Went again, and a woman answered me, after knocking for a while. She was nice and fine, nothing offensive about her, but she did inform me that apparently the gym is not open to the public, so now I'm disappointed that what I thought would've been a nice place within walking distance to better myself was not it apparently.
