This is a diamond in the ruff restaurant . It does not look like much from the outside the neighborhood is not the best and front of the restaurant is very deceiving. It is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside . Also the Peruvian food is very delicious and authentic food . I had the rib eye steak which had alot of fat but the fat gives the steak alot of flavor so I really enjoyed my dinner . It came with white rice and mixed vegetables and I ate the roasted corn kernels that they serve before the meal comes out .They were crunchy and good to eat . I will return back to this restaurant. I want to try their ceviche with Shrimps . The place was full of people and they had Selena on the TV singing which I loved her so I sang along while waiting for my food . Service was good my steak was a little too red for me but waitress just sent it back to get cooked a little more time. I was really surprised that this restaurant was this amazing.. I...
Read moreHonestly the worst Peruvian place I've tried to date, please don't go here. The anticucho skewers were so dry and tasteless, not juicy and tender like any of the other places I usually go to. It tasted like the meat was stale in the freezer before cooking. Just tasted like chewing a rubber sole. The gizzards and other parts of the mixt platter were equally bland but also the meat itself wasn't fresh at all. The maracuya juice was way too sweet. The tiradito was nasty as well, the fish hasn't been marinated for long enough so it tasted like raw fish with no flavor. The white corn in the meal was hard too. Just a completely revolting experience. I am not hard to please when it comes to Peruvian food, I am not Latino but even this was impossible to like. Save your money and avoid this place completely. The chulpi was also burnt. This is the worst experience I've had and they charge 18% gratuity as a standard for a mediocre service we can't get rid of....
Read moreFood is not so good. I'd say it's regular. Terrible service. I was there with my wife and my 7-year old son. I had to get up twice, once to ask for my fork, the second time for mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise and the spicy green sauce goes with the rostissiered chicken. When I've got my bill they increased the number of people at my table from 3 to 4, they also included a 15% gratuity which considering the waitresess didn't do her job right I shouldn't have changed this much. So I paid with my credit card and then when you get charged you get the credit card slip with an extra line for tips. The waitresess said that line is in case you want to leave an extra tip for my service. So I replied to her. I am sorry but you won't see me here...
