My husband and I each got a really good deal on hiking shoes at this store. When the shoe laces on my husband's pair broke after the third time being tied, we returned to the store to ask for a pair of new laces. At first the sales associate was a bit resistant to complying with our request, and when the manager was summoned he seemed to be of the same opinion. When we pressed the issue he made a call and then found a new pair of laces for my husband and let us have them for free. We went to the back of the store and a second sales associate, when he found we would have difficulty installing the new laces, offered to cut the broken lace for us, which we really appreciated. My family and me stopped at this Big 5 so they could buy hiking boots. The lady that helped us at the shoe dept. was really friendly and helpful. Apologized for the delay but it wasn’t necessary cause it was no problem for us and didn’t mind but appreciate how nice and polite she was about it. We were looking for beanies afterwards and we asked another associate where they had their beanies at. She pointed us to where they were and explained to us that they were moving inventory around as a heads up which we also appreciate, another nice and friendly polite associate. I walked around and around the store for 40 minutes and not one employee offered to help me, except on my way out. LABOR DAY, I wanted to buy some American flags. NONE AT ALL !!!!
