As a food service worker myself I never leave reviews, let alone a bad one, however our experience today was terrible. We ordered bone-in wings online, picked them up, got home and realized they were boneless wings instead. Called the store and no one answered, proceeded to call multiple times and again no answer. Finally someone picked up the phone and said the manager was in a conference call and would call back later (which never happened btw). We went into the store (it’s been 2 hours at this point) to get this resolved because mind you the bone-in wings are double the price, and the lady Jessica said there was nothing she could do without a managers approval. So now it’s been almost three hours of just trying to get a solution and we’ve made multiple trips to the store and back since no one can pick up the phone, the manager is finally present and proceeds to tell us that he himself packaged the order and they were bone-in. At this point we are very upset understandably! Then he says that we had “cussed out” Jessica previously which is not true. When we confusingly answered that we did not cuss her out he says “it’s on camera buddy” okay so roll the clip? Absolutely insane to question us and insinuate we are lying. Then proceeds to tell us we need proof that the wings were wrong, and the picture we took wasn’t enough. So we had to go home, pick up the incorrect wings and bring them back. At this point we explain we aren’t trying to cause problems or get upset but it’s been hours and no one has been helpful or understanding. The manager does not say a word just silently opens the drawer and hands us cash as a refund, no apology or anything, just a comment that they’re short staffed. Read moreWOW, first time ordering from Payson Pizza Hut, I love the hut, and order often, but won't be ordering here, not any more! I ordered the Meat Lovers pizza, the special I saw advertised on TV, $12.99. They advertize over a pound of meat and cheese, no way, not here! I ordered from Barb, I'm pretty sure she made it, as well, as it seems no one else is working. What a disappointment this pizza was! You DON'T know how to make pizza, girl! So Very skimpy on EVERY ONE OF the ingredients. Maybe a dozen pieces of sausage, less pepperoni, no where near enough cheese, sauce, or other meat. It was NOT a MEAT LOVERS pizza, by anyone's standards. I am so sorry I didn't open the box to look at it in the store, I would have refused it. I'm not happy, at all! What an absolute, pitiful pie. Pizza Factory, here I come, I'll try you next. You want to draw people BACK to your, very dead Hut, not drive them away, which is exactly what your pizzas are doing!

Read moreI remember going to Pizza Hut as a kid and it was like a real sit-down restaurant experience. Attentive servers, those old-fashioned light fixtures, throwback jukebox, and rich Chicago-style pizza.
Those days are long gone, and the Payson store is living proof. Pizza Hut is now little more than a run-of-the-mill fast food joint. The decor has lost its charm. The ambiance is stale. The dining area is questionably clean. The service is stretched thin. And the pizza--the crown jewel of it all--is debatably worse than $7 discount pizza.
The only reason I gave more than 1 star is to honor our server, Jacob. He did his best to wait tables singlehandedly for the 5 or so families in the restaurant. He was cheerful and helpful when he had every reason not to be. He's so outstanding that I think it's unlikely that he will stay there long.
